I'm trying to troubleshoot a design that is using CY7C65630 USB hubs. I need to know more about typical circuits and layout recommendations. All the App notes on the Infineon website for this part are labelled OBSOLETE. Are there any useful app notes on this part? Are the ones marked OBSOLETE still useful?

My understanding is that when OVR is driven low, PWR automatically goes low. Is it correct?

My customer's board does not behave that. When OVR pin input low, PWR pin does not go high.

Where should I check on the board?

My customer made a board to configure in HX3 (CYUSB3304) in I2C slave mode. However, in this board, the US port can be recognized from the MCU side, but the operation on the DS side cannot be confirmed.

I would like to check whether the configuration in I2C slave mode has been completed correctly. Do you have any documentation about configuration(boot sequence)?

Hello, I am reviewing the reference design schematic and note that USB_DS3_RXM is connected to J7's pin 5 and USB_DS3_RXP is connected to J7's pin 6 which is different comparing to J16, J10 and J8. Should  USB_DS3_RXM connected to J7's pin 6 and USB_DS3_RXP is connected to J7's pin 5? PLEASE CONFIRM

Per HX3 design guide, we learn PCB trace length must under 11" on downstream port.

How about the maximum PCB trace length of upstream port ?

Our application circuit only uses the DS4_DP and DS4_DM. What do we do with the DS4_RXP, DS4_RXM,DS4_TXP and DS4_TXM? terminate them or leave open? Please advise

Hi, I've got the problem with CyUsb Suit for Linux. I followed the steps given in the 'readme' file. When I run the command ./install.sh i got the output mentioned below.

What should I do to fix this issue?

When HX2LP powers up, the behavior of the VBUSPOWER pin momentarily drops as shown below. Since it returns immediately, I think that HX2LP will work without problems even with such behavior. Is it correct?

In HX2VL, Global Suspend and Unacknowledged Connect Remote Wakeup will fail, but are there any operational problems with products that have already been shipped? What is it, if any?

I don't know what this test is about, so I can't judge.

As we know, the HX3 supports four DS ports and sharing the same of 5Gbps bandwidth.

Customer would like to know if connecting 4 usb devices ( ex: mass storage devices ) to DS, 

each usb decive transfer data speed is 5Gbps / 4 = 1.25Gbps, correct cuz sharing 5Gbps bandwitdh.

Do you have any performance test document ?
