Hello,

I refer the AN94150 - Designing a SuperSpeed Hub Using HX3 with Optimized BOM,

Table1 - HX3 power Domains describe that clock power supply is provided from AVDD12 via A10, D8 on 100-ball BGA.

But in the data sheet, D8 is classified as DVDD12, which is correct?

Also, if the D8 pin is DVDD12, which of the "USB3.0 TX" and "Core supply" in Table.1 belongs to the D8 pin?

Hi,

Your point out is great.

In terms of BGA package, D8 is DVDD12 (core supply) and A10 is AVDD12.

That's why, it is Application Note mistake. We are sorry.

We will fix it immediately.

FYI:

In terms of 68QFN and 88QFN package, the pad of D8 is internally shorted with pad of A10.

Hence, for these 2 packages, the pin supply is AVDD.

Best regards,
