Hello,
When using the HX3 with an external clock, please tell me the specifications of the VIH and VIL of the clock signal.
Best Regards,

Hi Morimoto-san,
The supply voltage of the oscillator should be 1.2V for HX3 to work with.
Please use the oscillator with supply voltage of 1.2V or lesser.
Regards,
Anil

Hello,
I think that "Amplitude" is the distance between the top and the bottom of waveform.
What I would like to know is the voltage of min and max of the signal input to HX3.

Hi Naoaki,
You can find the information in the datasheet of HX3.

Hello yyca,
Thank you for your reply. But I am confused with your answer.
If VIH and VIL follow the definition in DC specification of Table8,
VDD_IO : 3.0V to 3.6V
VIH_max = VDD_IO = 3.6V
VIH_min = 0V
So, amplitude is 3.6 - 0 = 3.6V
It violates the specifications in Table6.
(Table6 seems to copy the specification of 1.2V core supply as it is.)
Please check the specifications of the external clock that can be connected to the HX3 once again.
Best regards,
Naoaki Morimoto

Hi Naoaki Morimoto,
The oscilator and IO block are two different things. There is no relationship between them
If you want to know VIN and VIH of IO block, refer to table 8.
If you want to know the requirment of external clock, refer to table 6.

Hello yyca,
How about the VIN and VIH for external clock input signal? Table6 doesn't have it.
I will change my question.
What is the part number of the clock oscillator recommended by Cypress as the external clock of the HX3?
I will refer to that oscillator datasheet.

Hi Naoaki Morimoto,
We don't have the recommended oscillator for HX3.
You could choose any oscillator which fits in the requirement in table 6.
