I have to generate the PWM Signals from FX3 about 100 Hz to 5 kHz.

I have connected to Complex GPIF ( 18,19, 20, 21).

This is fine or I can generate the PWM from simple GPIF?

Hi,

You can use the GIPO[18-21] as Complex GPIO's.

You can't use Simple GPIO's for generating PWM.

Please refer to section 8.9 of the FX3_TRM in the path for more information related to the GPIO's in FX3: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\EZ-USB FX3 SDK\1.3\doc\firmware\FX3_TRM.pdf

You can refer to 8.9.4.3 in section 8.9 for an example on configuring Complex GPIO to Generate PWM Output in FX3_TRM.pdf .
