Hello
I am using SONY IMX294 sensor and I don't know how to set H-Blanking and V-Blanking, I can get some information from IMX294 datasheet,can you help me to determine the value of H-Blanking and V-Blanking
datasheet:
datasheet Readout mode NO.6
My sensor configuration parameters
HMAX=600
VMAX=400
SVR=2
The datasheet only gives this information.
Best Regards,
Yaqi

Hi Yaqi,
Yes, the period between FE (frame end) and FS (frame start) would be the VBlanking.

Hi Yaqi,
1. In CX3 configuration tool, you will have to set HBlanking in terms of pixels and VBlanking in lines. You can put the values such that you do not see any errors reported by the tool.
2. Once you fix on the values (as mentioned above), then you will have to configure the sensor accordingly to achieve it. (You will have obtain help from sensor manufacturer for what register values you can make to achieve the same).

Hi Hemanth,
I have consulted with the supplier of the sensor and have not received a response yet.
I would like to know what V-Blanking stands for, as my sensor seems to be adding VMAX to control the frame rate.
For example, my current VMAX minimum is 1148, but my total VMAX for a frame is 12000, and this part of 12000-1148 belongs to the low-power area
Do you have any opinion?
Best Regards,
Yaqi

Hi Hemanth,
I would like to know if the red line labeled as shown in the picture is a frame with valid data from FS to FE, and if the purple box note should be V-Blanking.

Yaqi
