We use CY7C68013A-56PVXC as USB transmission scheme for communication between PC and industrial control board. When plugging in the front USB port of the host computer, the communication will be wrong, while the back USB port communication is normal.
In the other board that use CYC68013A-100AXC have no error.
The error code is:
USTS c0000011

Hi,
>> It seems like you are using a custom board. Please check if the hardware guidelines are being followed as explained in the App Note: https://www.cypress.com/file/135006/download
>> Between testing for the 2 boards, are the test environment and PCB layout the same? I mean did you use the same USB cable for both the boards?
Regards,
Mallika

Hi Mallika:
Yes, We use the same test condition between CY7C68013A-56PVXC and CYC68013A-100AXC board, include USB cable, PC, and software. It seem that the longer usb cable of front port have more loss lead to errors. Customer use the original firmware from cypress web that have no changed, and the transmission are normal when change an newer PC. they just want to get some advice how to avoid this error because end customers often use old computers in their production lines. thanks!

Hi,
Since the transitions on new PC are fine it doesn't seems a hardware issue. Most likely it is associated with the host controller.
