In CY4609, the supply of VBUS_US is changed from 5V to 2.5V by the resistance voltage divider of R16 and R17.
What is the reason for this? What is R16 needed for?
Thanks,
Tetsuo
Hi,
In the datasheet there is written:
"Systems using CY7C65621/31 may have the option of using a
fuse ROM which is preset at the factory to configure the hub"
See App Note: AN61904
"Systems using HX2LP have the option of using a fuse
ROM, which is preset at the factory to configure the hub".
Does this mean pre-programmed in default mode or can be customized for customer's needs?
If customized: how? cost? min. Qty?
Is it possible to write on the internal ROM at costumer side?
Show LessHey,
i would like to know the values for the Thermal resistance RΘJA CC.
Can anyone give me a hint as to where this can be found.

Show LessHi All,
Please help to say difference between CY7C65642-28LTXC & CY7C65642-28LTXCKL.
'KL' is not available in datasheet /Website but is available as a product.
CY7C65642 is NRND part but with KL it's preferred. So, need to understand it's specs & differentiation.

Does the impedance of the clock input terminal change after a while after the power is turned on?
The voltage on the input clock drops a little (from 3.3V to 3V).
I don't know why it happens. I don't even know where to check.
We have made several boards and all of them have this phenomenon. However, this symptom does not appear even though the circuit is the same on the previous board.
Thanks,
Tetsuo
Hello
Performance difference between HX2VL (CY7C65632) and HX2LP (CY7C65630)
(1) Noise level
(2) Terminal strength
(3) Performance value (eye pattern, etc.)
The detailed specification difference is clearer from the data sheet etc., but is there any information on how much difference there is between HX2VL and HX2LP for the above items (1) to (3)?
Also, is there any comparison result information of past test data?
Best Regards

Show LessI am designing a usb hub using CYUSB3314-88LTXC HX3.
Im currently experiencing two issues:
1. My goal is to connect the hub (usb a upstream) to a usb c port. When I use a usb c to a usb a cable to connect to the hub, the hub defaults to usb 2.0. However, when I use a usb a to usb a cable the hub acts as a usb 3.0. For my application, i would like to be able to connect the hub to a usb c port as a usb 3.0 device.
2. One of the downstream ports is a usb c 3.0. I'm connecting a camera that uses usb 3.0, however this also defaults to usb 2.0 exclusively. Note: this downstream port intentionally only uses one side of the usb c connector, we are not requiring this to work on both sides.
Is there an issue with the way the connectors are wired ?
Im attaching the schematic for reference.
Show LessTo whom it may concern,
I' using Terasic DE2-115 board, it use the CY7C67200 device to implement a USB device port, however, I ony found the driver for Windows 2000(w2K),Windows XP (wxp),Windows Vista (wlh), but I'm using Windows 10, these drivers seems not work.
I saw this post: https://community.infineon.com/t5/USB-hosts-hubs-transceivers/CY7C67200-driver-windows-10/m-p/80739 , but I can't find the cy3663-cd-rom-image-v10 in this link now, https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/cy3663-cd-rom-image-v10 .
Could you share a valid driver for Windows 10 or provide the cy3663-cd-rom-image-v10?
Thanks in advance.
