Please advise what is the maximum Tc specification of CCG3PA (24QFN)?
Data sheet explains Tj_max = 120 deg-C, Ta_max = 105 deg-C and Tja=19.98 deg/W but it doesn't mean maximum power consumption is 0.75W (= 15/19.98), right?
What is the specification for maximum power consumption? And what is the Tc_max specification under this condition?
I'm unable to make UART serial communication with CX3. I tried UartLpRegMode example. When I single stepped through my code with a J-link segger debugger, I realized that rxTxByte is always zero and apiRetStatus is 69. I'm not getting anything on the serial terminal when I set to the baud rate I configured in the program. Tried putting some CyU3PDebugPrint statements, but nothing is getting printed. Even, after configuring the UART. Tried shorting TXD and RXD pins to see any loopback, but no improvements. Even manual values are not getting printed. I'm not sure, whether I'm running properly and testing. Any suggestions would be greatly helpful. Thanks for helping !Show Less

We are using CCG2 eMarker (CYPD2103-20FNXIT) in our design. It’s similar to Passive eMarked cable.
We want to use this design to carry 10Gbps Thunderbolt signals. Our requirements is,
- eMarker should advertise cable properties as 10Gbps speed support only.
We downloaded CCG2 firmware from,
As firmware is available only in binary format, we don’t know if it supports 10Gbps only speed as mentioned above.
Can you point me to the right firmware? If it’s not readily available, can you share updated firmware where cable property (speed) is limited to 10Gbps?

I downloaded CCG3PA SDK, and installed it on my environment.
I found the firmware for CYPD3174 and CYPD3175 devices, and I think the firmware is for reference design.

Hello, I own a notebook manufactured by Xiaomi (Mi Air 13.3) in China and currently it is not charging the battery.
Investigating that, I discovered a CYPD-2122-B-1637 6 4621 chip burnt, there is even a hole in it.
Does it need to be programmed before it is used? Or is it ready to be used?

I have a USB-C powered design where I am drawing my power +5V from VBUS. I need some sort of protection IC for situations where VBUS might be +20V that also deals \ protects from the Inrush Current requirements of USB. I am looking for an IC that will give me the protection against the over voltage but at the same time when VBUS is applied provide the required USB-C\USB 2.0 Inrush Current protection without the need of an enable pin !Show Less

I cannot find it on datasheet.
In CYPD3125-40LXQI, when VBUS is directly ant unfortunately provide from internal system power source, can we open VSYS pin?
In that case, when we try to debug our software through SWD, do we need any especial sequence which is difference in a case of providing VSYS from VTARG?
