I have driver for motor control.

I need to know what processor to use best for this project since. I want to transfer controls and power through a single USB type C cable.

         Could you please give a detailed decription about the function of CCG3PA PAD19? I can not find it from present CCG3PA technical materials.  In demo "PB-808B（CCG3PA+SC8915+SC8902A＊_Sch V1.1 20180921"  pad19 is connected to type-C connector shielding ground and then through a 5mR res to board ground. I wander what the function of 5mR is?May I cancel 5mR because it is so big?

I'm making my own PD power adaptor with CCG3PA. This is an internal block diagram and application circuit of CCG3PA.

It is important to ensure that the circuit works steadily. So we need loop compensation consisting of these components circled in green in figure two. In order to calcaculate the exact value for these compenants, I need to know the exact value of the resistor circuled in red in the first figure according to the mathematical model for this type of topology.

Could any one help me?

I'd like to demonstrate a Display Port Dongle using CY4531.

Is there an existing project targeting CYPD3125 on the CY4531 kit that emulates a Display Port Dongle?

Will additional code be required to program the PS8740B Parade Switch on the CY4531 kit?

Note: The Display Port Demo in CY4531 Kit Guide is in the opposite direction (Video data into Display Port then out of USB-C)

It appears the dp_dongle example targeted for CYPD3120 is in the correct direction (Video data into USB-C then out of Display Port)

If a Display Port Dongle example for CY4531 isn't readily available...

There appear to be three issues to overcome if starting with the CYPD3120_dp_dongle example:

1) An error when attempting to build the project in PSoC Creator (memset error described below)

2) Generating a CYPD3125 Bootloader - this one just takes time to remember how to create a new Bootloader after changing the device from CYPD3120 to CYPD3125. (Will the CYPD3120 project successfully load into a CYPD3125?)

3) Defining all other kit settings including PS8740B Parade Switch.

I selected "CYPD3120-40LQXI_dp_dongle.cywrk" example from PSoC Creator's Start Page tab under Start > Kits > EZ-PD CCGx SDK

I then performed an "Update Components" on the project

When running a Clean and Build, I get the following error:

Description = prg.M0120:Build error: passing argument 1 of 'memset' discards ' volatile' qualifier from pointer target type [-Werror=discarded-array-qulaifiers]

File = usb.c

Error Location = line 413, col 12

The error points to line 413 in usb.c which is:

    memset(&gl_usb.active_alt_inf, 0, USB_NUM_INTERFACE);

What options are available to debug this error or alternatively find a working dp_dongle demo?

I  connected cypd3125 in cy4531 use Micro USB. And I can use I2C API "CyGetI2cConfig" to get configuration. 

By "CyI2cWrite", I can send I2C command to cypd3125, and hpi_task will deal it. And now I want to send a pd package to cypd3125 by I2C interface, Is there any document what data I need to add in a I2C package, so cypd3125 can regard this I2C package as a pd package and then send to target by cc pin?

Could you please give us a list about which pin can be a adc input ?

Is P2.2 / P2.3 able to be a adc input pin ??

I'm switching away from CCG1 because the part I was using is NRND.  I am planning to switch to the CCG6.  My implementation is a fairly simple device, so my previous implementation was based on the CY4501 Client board schematic.  This had a SuperSpeed mux controlled by the CCG1 via 2 GPIO ('Output Enable' and 'Select').  I haven't found the information on how to connect and configure the CCG6 for such operation.  The schematics and notes that I see are all for Notebook applications where the SS mux is controlled via I2C and is much more complicated than I need (thunderbolt etc).

How do I control the SuperSpeed Mux via GPIO (i.e. what pins do I hook up)?  Where do I find this information?

Hi all,

     We are using CYPD2122 in notebook Application and power adapter application. In power adapter we have set profiles to 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A and 15V/3A. When the Notebook application is powered (Same profile is set in notebook application), the VBUS is 5V and after few ms the voltage is increased to 15V, but after few ms the board is switching off. This will continue till we disconnect the Type C cable. This is happening with 12v and 15V profile, but when the profile is set to 9V the notebook application is not resetting.

Another observation is if we power the notebook board by applying external power and then plug the Type C cable, the VBUS voltage will be 15V (15V profile set in both notebook and power adapter) and even if we switch off the external power the VBUS voltage will be 15V and the board will not reset.

We would like to know how we can solve this issue.
