Show LessHi, Sir,
I have a intel Alder-Lake platform project, and customer is design schematic using CCG5C.
Dose Host SDK - CYPD5126-40LQXI_notebook_tbt project can support Alder-Lake?

Show LessTo confirm that the bootloader is running, I'm toggling 2 GPIO pins to indicate that I've entered main() in the bootloader. If I build the bootloader project and load the hex file into the CCG3 I see the pins toggle when the device is powered on. If I specify this bootloader in the bootloadable component in my main project I don't see these pins toggle when the device powers on. Am I missing something on how this firmware runs?
Show LessHi,
I am using CCG3PA board in my device to work as PD source and QC source.
It was working as PD source fine but it is not working as QC source when i connect it to QC sink.
How can i switch ccg3pa from PD to QC mode?
All QC related flags are set in my code BATTERY_CHARGING_ENABLE and below provided with my EZ-PD configuration utility screenshot.
When i connected a sniffer between My device and sink it is sending Source capabilities for some time and then vbus is droping to zero when there is no response from sink.
Is there any Flags i am missing to enable ? can you suggest procedure to switch between PD source mode to QC source mode?
Thankyou.

Hello,
I am working on a design that is using CYPD6125-40LQXIT in a consumer device for 20V at 5A.
The schematic as it is now is connecting Vbus on the CCG6 to the USB connector. Also, it goes to the Bus Fets. The Bus Fets control line goes to the CCG6 Consumer control line.
The provided control line on the CCG6 is disconnected.
The current sense pins (CSP/CSN) are connected to a sense resistor after the Vbus Fets (away from the connector). CSP and CSN are reversed so CSP is closest to the connector and thus, does not trip the reverse current protection.
I have not been able to find any information, test use case or mention of the way we are doing the hardware. I would like to get some clarification if this is a supported way of doing the connection or if we could have issues by using it the way we are.
See attached simplified schematic for reference.

Hello,
We have implemented a CYPD3125 on our latest ultrasound scanner. We use the firmware of the evaluation kit with some modifications to the configuration table. We have one source PDO (5V / 1.5A) and two sink PDO (5V / 900 mA and 15V / 3A). Our system required 15V / 3A to work.
When we connect a USB-C power adapter our system request 15V / 3A and it starts working properly. But sometime after few seconds or few minutes the CYPD3125 turn off the consumer path and our system stop working. When we measure the VBUS the 15 volts is still there but the gate of the two transistors that control the consumer path are at 0 volt.
What can cause the CYPD3125 to turn off the consumer path?
Thank you
Best Regards,
Patrice

We use Host SDK to implement TGL platform
Currently we have one fail item in eye diagram.
How to adjust BB-RETIMER ( ex : EQ ) to improve eye diagram?

Hi
We are building a product based on the Charge through dongle application.
I have hit a snag, we need some specific functionality on the input pdo selection. My first thought was to customize the CCG2 firmware, but not only is the example code not available, it seems the toolchain is falling out of support. (I could be wrong here)
So my question is, can I get the below behavior to work on the CCG3 while using the pre-compiled hex file for the CCG2?
- Our device dose not contain any data or display ports, so they need to be removed from the project
+EDDIT: I have changed settings in config.h but need to use some of the controlling pins, still getting an error when reassigning them
- subtract 5W from the charge through power when separate device when activated
- when power is disconnected, the device will provide back up power, so the PDO needs to be swapped to 5V3A PDO, then stopped when battery is drained
- no PDO higher then 12V
Any help pointing me to the right areas would be greatly appreciated, I am relatively new to the PSOC and EZ-PD system
Thanks for your time

大家好,
我在用CYPD4126-40LQXIT做TPYEC接口,有几个问题请帮忙确认:
1)芯片第一次烧写程序,必须使用SWD,还是可以使用I2C?
2)CYPD4126-40LQXIT里的I2C地址是固定的,还是可配的;
3)如果I2C的地址是软件可以配的,相关软件配置时需要的对应的相关文档连接地址在哪里?
谢谢!
Show LessWhen i enable OTP function by EZ-PD configuration utility ,
There have two parameters, one is "cut off" , another is "Restart value"
How to set those parameters? What is the unit?
The FW use "pd_hal_measure_internal_temp" function to get internal temperature.
The function return value unit is ℃, right ? ex: if chip internal temperature is 100℃ , the function will return 100, right?
