Hi,
These pins drive the consumer path FET's. I measured gate voltage 10.5V with 5V VBUS supply. This seems to be good marginal to get low Rds for the FET's. However when PD negotiates 20V/3A VBUS (measured 19.7V) the gate voltage is mere 20.5V. The FET heats up on higher currents so I assume reason is the low gate voltage and thus too high Rds.
What kind of driver voltage I should expect to see on 20V VBUS, I assume it should be around 25V?
We're using CYPD3120.
Hi experts,
I am currently working on the PD application with the XDPS2221. In order to verify the AHB topology as proposed in your datasheet, I started by using a waveform generator to generate a 50% duty cycle PWM signal at a frequency of 250kHz to check the correctness of my main circuit. However, I have encountered a significant oscillation when the lower switch turns off
In the example provided below, the pink line represents the voltage of the switching node, the green line represents the current on the primary side of the transformer, and the blue line represents the current on the secondary side of the transformer. As you can see from the figure, the high oscillation current appears on the primary side but not on the secondary side.
I have already attempted to reduce the Cps/Coss, but it did not resolve the issue.
I am eagerly awaiting your response as I need to confirm the correctness of my main circuit before proceeding further with the XDPS2221

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Look forward to your reply!

Show LessHello
Regarding ADC of PMG1-B1, there is the following description in Datasheet of PMG1-B1.
<Peripherals and GPIOs>
• 2x 8-bit ADCs
• 1x 12-bit ADC
Q)From the above, it is recognized that only three GPIOs with ADC functions can be used, But, Is it possible to use five ADC functions of the attached GPIO at the same time? If possible, please tell me how to set
Best Regards

I wanna build a Charge-Through VCONN Powered Device (CT-VPD).
I went throw the product catalog of infineon and other vendors and figured that the CCG2 is probably the right chip for my use case. I put a picture of my current PCB design as an attachment. I would appreciate your feedback on that design.
You can find some info on CT-VPDs from the USB-IF here, if you want to read up on the topic: https://www.usb.org/document-library/ctvpds-and-making-your-own-usb-cr-thingamajig
For a bit more context, my design is a USB keyboard attachment for a smartphone. The smartphone does support USB-PD 3.0 and can charge with more than 5.0V on VBUS. The CCG2 chip should enable the smartphone connected to the upstream port of my PCB, to power the keyboards micro controller via VCONN and still be charged with 5.0V or more over VBUS when a capable USB-PD charger is connected to the Charge-Through port of my PCB. You can see a good overview of the ports involved on page 10 of the PDF from the USB-IF. My keyboard PCB pretty much follows the same concept as the audio dongle that is shown there.
Because this setup is quite a new approach there is no application note in the datasheet of the CCG2 for it yet. Because of that I'm not sure how to properly design the PD circuitry. I was hoping that you could take a look at my design and give me some feedback if the design should work like that or if I need some adjustments.
I hope I can create a working design with the CCG2 chip or I would need to make a redesign with another vendor. I'm already looking for alternatives but the support engineers there are a bit slow to answer.
If you got any questions, just shoot them at me and I'll try to answer them.
Show Less我们参考了Goshen Ridge的Godzilla Creek设计:
5。硬件量测VBUS_P1/VSYS/VDDD/V5V_P1的电都是正常的。

I am a beginner, I have never worked with these controllers.
I downloaded the code example for CYPD3175 and expected that fast charging support would be implemented in this example.
But when testing with QC3 and QC4, the output voltage is always 5 V (9 and 12 V are never at the output).
I can manually change the output voltage using the psrc_set_voltage function. But in order to change it automatically I need to have access to D+ and D-.
I would like to find out if this scheme is correct (the scheme is attached below) for the CYPD3175 Power adapter.
I would also like to know where the D+ and D- pins are initialized in the code example for CYPD3175.
I would also like to know how I can count the voltage at pins D+ and D-. Is it possible?
And if it is possible to count the voltage on D+ and D- , then I would like to know what functions will help me count the voltage on these pins.
Please help me, I reread the entire CGx_Power_SDK_API_Guide and could not find the functions for reading the voltage on D+ and D-.
Please help me solve this problem.
Best Regards,
Aleksey
Show LessDear Engineer,
I need the application manual of PMG1-B1. I went to the corresponding page to look for it, but I couldn't find it. The application manual inside is s0, s1, s2 and s3, but I didn't see the application description of b1.
Thanks。
