Dear Sir,
Our customer have a new project for Two Type-C port charge through power adapter with wireless charging as attached picture "ChargeThroughPowerAdapter.jpg".
Cypress have a EZ-PD? CCG3 USB Type-C Charge-Through Dongle , but it is not very match with the application.
For chip select, the customer expect to use one chip solution first.
Could you help to suggest which chip we should use ? CYPD4236-40LQXIT ?
Is there any reference solution to us ?
Best Regards,
Cloud Chen.

Hi Cloud,
For this kind of two port Type-C design using CCG4, we do not have available reference schematic.
The difference between CYPD4236 & CYPD4226 is that CYPD4226 supports dead battery feature. It is necessary for charge through dongle. So CYPD4226 is a good choice.
For the firmware, customer can start fromCYPD4226-40LQXI_notebook in the CCGx Host SDK.
Regards,
Eddie

Hi Eddie,
Got it, Thanks for your suggestion.
One more question need to confirm that in the datasheet CYPD4226 "Dead Battery Termination" show "No". Does the "No" means the chip supports dead battery feature ?
Best Regards,
Cloud Chen.
