Hi  All,

When CYPD5225 enters  deep sleep mode ,it keeps  this mode only for 3 seconds ( current:800 uA)  and then restart(current:8mA)。

Q1:Why does it keep deep sleep mode only for 3 seconds and then restart?

Q2:Entering sleep mode , current is 800 uA, is it right? If not, what is the appropriate value?

Log  as follows.

Hello Venus,

1. As per the log you share, I guess you mentioned CCG5 entered deep sleep mode 3 seconds, this case is Type-C attached and CCG5 is sink. Am I correct?

If yes, the specification you shall be referred is below as per condition of your firmware setting:

2. From the log you shared, It seems that time slot from 22:02:47.098 have a interrupt and sink path disabled. If this is true case, CCG5 shall be wake up to handle this event.

Best Regards,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

            Thanks for your response.

            1. The  CCG5 is sink but the case is not type-c attached.

2.How can I  do to modify firmware setting as per the specification you mentioned above?

3.Does  the  restart situation  confirm  the  device has already  entered deep sleep mode?

4.How can I printf log to gain the  reason which causes restart ?
