I would like to use CCG2 for USB Type C Paddle card but I would like to know how to connect the connect shield to ground directly

Hi, 

   

According to USB Type-C spec section 3.4.1, the shield of the cable has to be connected to the GND pin of the CCG device.  We have a reference design for a cable application which will help you out in the schematic design.
