Do you have protect function between VCC and each ports for CCG3 &4?

If no, Do you have any solution for this protect?

CCG3 &4について天絡防止機能は内蔵されていますでしょうか?

もし対応していない場合、外付けなどで防止する方法は提案できますでしょうか?

Thank you.

Hi Masaya san,

For CCG3 and CCG4, we have implemented OCP and OVP of VBUS. Which is used for protecting CCG3 and other components on the board.

For CC short protection, so far only CCG5 and CCG3PA have hardware protection internal. CCG3 and CCG4 need external MOS FET or specified chip to protect it.

For SS USB signals, we only have ESD protection.

Best Regards,

Lisa

Hi Masaya,

May I know what's VCC meant based on CCG3 and CCG4? For CCG3, we have power input pin, VBUS, VSYS, VDDD, VDDIO and V5V (for VCONN power only). And CCG4 have VSYS, VDDD, VDDIO and V5V (for VCONN power only). And the ports you meant is GPIO port 0-3? Or Type-C port only?

Best Regards,

Lisa
