Hi,
I suspect the issue to be related to power supply domain. The schematic provided is incomplete and I cannot clearly understand the wiring of VBUS_IN_DISCHARGE and VBUS_C_MON_DISCHARGE. Please refer to Q1 HARDWARE in the KBA: https://community.cypress.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/CCG3PA-Hardware-and-Software-FAQs-KBA231523...
Also, please ensure that the CCG3PA_GND is different from the Type-C GND. They should be kept separated.
Hi,
>> Please provide the board schematics.
>> Kindly confirm if you used the firmware with the default configuration.

Mallika
Hi Mallika
Thanks for your reply.
Use USER FW + CY4532 EVM is ok no fail.
The picture below is the customer's PCBA
Hi,
Could you please provide your schematics for review.
Regards,
Mallika
It is CYPD3171 schematics
Hi,
From the schematics, the connections of VBUS_IN_DISCHARGE and VBUS_C_MON_DISCHARGE are unclear. Could you please elaborate on it?

Mallika

FYI

Dear Sir
Product application is sink only ,
So CCG3PA_GND and Type-C GND should be the same, right?
Hi,
I meant the Type-C receptacle GND line should not be directly connected to CCG3PA GND pin. Please look into the CY4532 schematics for the Type-C receptacle GND connection.
Also, look at the KBA for Rsense connection: https://community.cypress.com/t5/Knowledge-Base-Articles/Rsense-Design-Considerations-On-CCG3PA-Appl...
For sink applications, VBUS_IN_DISCHARGE should be connected to VBUS of Type_C interface and VBUS_C_MON_DISCHARGE to VBUS source.
