Hello!

I can speak a little English. Sorry!

I make a b/d to this site : https://www.cypress.com/documentation/reference-designs/ez-pd-ccg3-usb-type-c-charge-through-dongle

And HEX FILE receive to Cypress FAE.

This B/D Power OUT : 15V (Min : 13.05V, Max : 15.75V, Current 2.32A)

I want change Voltage and Current : 20V 3A

Can I receive change Hex File and Project File ?? Plz!!

This is EZ-PD Analyzer Utility Capture.

Hello ,

Infineon/Cypress have released the firmware source code of CCG3+CCG2 charge through dongle on website, you could download it directly. The Link: https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-pd-sdk-v302-ccg2-all-applications-ccg3...

Typically, the CCG3 is responsible for UFP Type-C plug and CCG2 is responsible for Type-C receptacle with sink only (without data signals-- USB/DP/HDMI/TBT3). The CCG3 output gives max voltage of Type-C receptacle was received.  So that,

1. You need check whether the Type-C charger on Type-C receptacle have capabilities to power source 20V.

2. Make sure CCG3 enabled all PDO correctly.

Best Regards,

Lisa

Thank y for reply Lisa.

I haven't solved this problem yet..

1.  I downloaded it from the route you told me, I couldn't find the source file.

    > PSoC Creator 4.4 -> Example Code -> CYPD3123-40LQXI_ctd_us -> Make a Project

      >> I don't find any file in "Generated_Source" folder.  3 Errors.

          gh_ko_0-1627950408978.png

2. PD Adapta specification is sufficient.

 PD Adapta is SAMSUNG EP-TA865.

   (PDO) 5V 3A or 9V 3A or 20V 3A. (PPS) 5V  ~ 20V  3.25A.

And, Notebook charging Voltage is 20V by SAMSUNG HUB.

But, CYPD3123 + CYPD2122 use charging Voltage is 15V.

Maybe, Min 13.05V, Max 15.75V range spec.

gh_ko_1-1627953384993.png

So, change max range 15.75 to 20~21V ??

I only have a hex file that I got from a FAE.

Thank you!!

Hello ,

1. The error screen shot shows that the project was not opened by correct PSoC Creator. Please use PSoC Creator 3.3 DP1 which is along with  EZ PD SDK 3.0.2 The Link: https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-pd-sdk-v302-ccg2-all-applications-ccg3...

2. The sink request is following the max power with bigger current way. It meaning of that the CCG2 will request the lager current when the power (Voltage *Current) is same, for example, 45W, 20V/2.25A, 15V/3A, the Sink request will be 15V/3A.

Best Regards,

Lisa
