Hi Alex,
The DNU pins might be used for some other purpose internally, therefore it should always be left floating.

What are the specific risks of connecting DNU pins to VSSD pins?
Connecting the DNU pin to the VSSD pin facilitates VSSD cabling. And will connecting DNU pin to VSSD pin reduce power consumption?
