Hi,

I am looking at the CYPD7171-40LQXQ device and it states that the input voltage is 24V but its 40V tolerant (while SW1 can go up to 35V). Can this device be used in an 8S battery application where the nominal voltage is 28.8V but can go up to a maximum of 33.6V?

Hi,

CYPD7171 is not recommended to be used if VIN is greater than 24V.

Best regards,
Pranava
