Hi,

With PSoc creator, i am using the Cypress code example "CYPD5225-96BZXI_notebook_tbt".
In the "pins tab" some pins of the device CYDP5225 have no configuration.

What is the configuration for the pins not defined in the "pins tab" ?
Where can i found the default configuration for all the pins ?

Thank you for help,

Best Regards,

TD83

Hello TD83,

Thank you for posting on Infineon Community.

In the PINS tab, there are two graphics that show the pins on the device.

Pablo_EG_0-1641436214564.png

The first one, to the left, shows all of the pins of the device and their location on the grid.
The X-axis is columns 1 to 11, and the Y-axis is rows A to L.
If a pin is colored GREEN, it means that it is a fixed-function pin. These are always in use.
If it is BLUE, it means that the pin is in use as one of its functions.
If it is WHITE, it means that the pin is not in use.
Each pin has its label, which tells its function.
If you want further information on each pin's functionality, please refer to page 11 of the datasheet:
https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-EZ-PD_CCG5_USB_TYPE-C_PORT_CONTROLLER-DataSheet-v14_00-EN.pdf...

The second area, to the right, shows the pins which can be enabled/disabled (BLUE or WHITE).
This second list will only show the pins which are in use.

The reason why not all of the pins are listed on the right-side pane is that only the pins which can be enabled/disabled AND are currently enabled are shown.

Best regards,
Pablo
