Hi,

On our board we are using the device CYPD5225 with a Tiger Lake.

The Tiger Lake supports DP++ Display over Type-C ports.

In DisplayPort mode the bus AUX+/- is connected to the SBU1/2 pin

In HDMI mode the bus I2C SCL/SDA is connected to the SBU1/2 pin

Is it possible to MUX these two signal inside the device CYPD2525 with the balls AUX+_P1/AUX-P1 and the balls LSRX_P1/LSTX_P1 ?

Thank you for help,

Best regards

Hi,

There is an internal SBU MUX in CCG5 that can switch between LSTx/LSRx and DP_AUX_P/DP_AUX_N. Please refer to the figure below.

You can use this internal MUX to switch between 2 signals. Please refer to SBU MUX section (Page 5) in the datasheet. https://www.cypress.com/file/363396/download

Please let me know if you need any clarification regarding this.

Best regards,
