Hello.

I want to use CY7113kit and program 140W (28V, 5A).

So, I updated to kitprog3, but the device doesn't work.

Help me, please.

Hi,

Please use this project to program the CY7113 kit. - https://github.com/Infineon/mtb-example-pmg1-usbpd-sink-capsense

This project supports EPR (140W). Please go through the Readme file for explanation on how to configure it.

PMG1 Kits guide - https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-EZ-PD_PMG1_MCU_Prototyping_Kit_Guide-UserManual-v01_00-EN.pdf...

Please let us know if you have any issues while using this example.

Best regards,
Pranava

Hi,

I followed that guide, but I can't get 140W.

I'd like you to explain it in more detail.

Thank you.

Hi,

Can you please confirm if the CY_PD_EPR_ENABLE Define is set to 1 in the makefile? Also are you sure that the source device and cable used are EPR capable?

Also please let me know the behavior of the onboard LED?

Hi,

Can you please confirm if the CY_PD_EPR_ENABLE Define is set to 1 in the makefile?

: YES

Also are you sure that the source device and cable used are EPR capable?

: YES

Also please let me know the behavior of the onboard LED?

: With LEDs 1 and 2 on, the program build progresses, and when the power is connected later, only 20V is generated.
Should EZ-PDConforator 1.10 be modified?

Thank You.

Hi,

EZ-PD Configurator has EPR enabled by default. You can check if you have EPR enabled in Configurator. Refer to the Readme of the example for details. We have tested it at our end and can not see any issue in getting 28V. Please give us the PD trace if you have a PD analyzer. This will help us debug the issue faster.
