There are two different ground on schematic shown in attached file.
Can you tell me the purpose of the separation?

Hello,
The two grounds in the schematic is for the ground and shield pins of the Type-C connector. A parallel RC circuit is recommended to be connected between the two to reduce EMI.
Please refer to section 14 of the App Note for more details.
