Hi,

I am using the CY4533 and the CY4500 attached to a PD V3.0 100W PPS AC Adapter.  I attached two screen shots, one from the CY4533 EZ-PD BCR HPI Utility and one from the CY4500 EZ-PD Protocol Analyzer Utility.  My question is why does the CY4533 Utility show a Rev 2.0 contract and the CY4500 Utility shows a Rev 3 contract?

Thank You

Thanks for your info. Actually the rev info shown in CY4500 EZ-PD Protocol Analyzer Utility is the raw data.

That's possibly the CY4533 utility tool issue. I will double-check it internally. Please follow the info shown in CY4500 utility at the moment.

The "PD Contract" shown by CY4533 Utility is the PD rev supported by partner port. It is abnormal to see the partner port support rev2.0 while the contract support rev3.0 that is shown in CY4500 Utility.

That's possibly a utility  tool cause of data parse. Any access to the raw data on your side?

Actually the raw data displayed by CY4533 GUI is just PDO related. PD contract info is not shown.

The PD contract rev is bit18 of PD_Status register, which is the rev support by partner port (power adapter).

Have you ever written the bit18 through HPI manually?

Thanks for the information.

The power adapter I am using is Key Power/Huwder Model: A1903 and I am connected to the PPS USB-C/PD port.

PPSx 1:3.3V-20V==5A(Each).(USB-C/PPS)x 2:5V/9V/12V/15V/20V==3A(Each)

I have not ever written anything through HPI manually to change bit18.
