We refer to CCG3 datasheet - "Figure 13. USB Type-C to DisplayPort Adapter Application Diagram" to design schematic and use CCGx SDK - CYPD3120-40LQXI_dp_dongle FW.

but we measure the power consumption is too high.

1. Can you provide us the power consumption of  "CCG3 C to DP dongle ( Bus-powered , BB enabled) " for us reference ?

2. How to reduce the power consumption.

Another question, if BB is enabled, can i enable CCG deep sleep to save power?

#define SYS_DEEPSLEEP_ENABLE (1u)

Hi Ivan,

May I know what is the power consumption of your board?

We don't have the data for the evaluation board, but the power consumption of CCG3 should  follow CCG3 data sheet:

And you can enable deepsleep in the firmware, it is enabled by default.

Regards,
Eddie

Hi Ivan,

That looks like a normal power consumption level in the case that chip does not go into deepsleep. So the actual problem is that your device could not enter deepsleep, right? Have you enabled SYS_DEEPSLEEP_ENABLE  macro in the firmware?
