Hi, Sir,

As we know, EPR enables VBUS supply of up to 48V@5A.

Do you have any recommendation about short protection between VBUS and CC pin?

Do we need to have external circuit for short protection? if need, please provide us reference circuit.

Hi,

 

   CCG2 is used only for an EMCA application while supporting EPR mode. 

In this mode, CCG2 will not be having control over the VBUS path and hence VBUS-CC short protection is not enabled. Please refer the below circuit diagram,

Hi,
