It uses CCG3PA as DFP.

If the opposite device is inserted without VDDD,

(≈ voltage is applied to VBUS_C_MON_DISCHARGE)

How does CCG3PA work?

VBUS_C_MON_DIS.gif

Does CCG3PA start to operate with power supplied?

Open ProviderFET because it has VBUS?

If so, what would be the workaround?

The FET is unintentionally turned on, but I want to avoid it.

Thanks,

Tetsuo

Hi Tetsuo,

CCG3PA can operate from two possible external supply sources: VBUS_IN_DISCHARGE (3.0 V–24.5 V) or VDDD (2.7 V–5.5 V). It is impossible to powered by VBUS_C_MON. So that CCG3PA will not work.

Best Regards,

Lisa
