Hello
I have a question about the sample FW( CYPD3125-40LQXI_notebook_one_1_0_3_516_0_0_0_nb.cyacd,CYPD3125-40LQXI.
I added 12V/3A to the default Source PDO and checked the operation, but it does not work properly. Plwase tell me the reason and workaround.
Best Regards
Arai

Hi Arai-san,
The DC-DC converter used in the CY4531 base board only supports 4 voltages i.e. 5V, 9V, 15V and 20V based on VSEL1 and VSEL2 values. Therefore you are not able to get into 12V contract. There are no workarounds for this.

Hello Arai-san,
Can you please specify what exactly you mean by "not working"? Are you facing issues with respect to PD contract?
Also please do share the modified .cyacd file so that I can check it at my end.

Hello Pranava san
I cannot attach .cyacd file, but Source PDO settings below.
- Source PDO0: 5V/3A
-Source PDO1:9V/3A
-Source PDO2:12V/3A
-Source PDO3:15V/3A
-Source PDO4:20V/3A
The result of switching the SW of CY4533 is as follows.
It seems that only 12V added by PDO can not be contracted
<CY4533>
SW1:5V
SW2:9V
SW3:0V -> It seems that only 12V added by CY4531 Source PDO can not be contracted
SW4:15V
SW5:20V
Best Regards
