Hi,

I would like to run our system using a power bank with the configuration shown.

My question is, is there a way to read the remaining cells of the power bank battery in EC.

I understand that the power bank you use will change things.

I would like to know if there is a way to achieve this in general, and if so, how to control it with the CY4533.

Thanks and Regards,

Takeshi Tozawa

Hi,

There is no way in USB-PD spec or in CY4533 to determine the battery state or capacity of the power bank.

The only information you can get is the Source PDO advertised by the Power bank as well as the Current contract information.

Best regards,
Pranava
