Need the layout guidelines for CYT2B73CADQ0AZEGS

Hi @meriajacob 

 

There is no special guideline between microcontroller and the motor IC, so we are able to provide some general comments:

  1. For interface between TLE and MCU, they are small voltage signal including PWM, SPI, CAN TX/RX , AD ..etc. General recommendation is to have PWM line with wider width and shorter length in order to lower the inductance path and PWM noise. Also, have a trace gap for those lines to avoid cross-talk issue.
  2. PWM lines in a separate partition from the communication and AD lines. For AD filter, our HW design guide has the details.
  3. Do partition well for the high power and low power portion in the PCB.
  4. Follow the recommendation in our hardware design guide for the microcontroller part.

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

We are having an H-Bridge and a current sense amplifier in our design along with a Brushed DC actuator motor.  I would like to know if there are any specific guidelines available for the placement and routing of these signals with respect to the microcontroller and DC Motor IC.

Major devices in our design  are listed below

  • CYT2B73CADQ0AZEGS - Microcontroller
  • TLE9562QXXUMA1 - DC Motor System IC
  • TLE9351VSJ - High speed CAN FD transceiver
