I am using the EZ-Serial firmware for this module and I'm having an issue where pairing connects to the BLE instead of BT-Classic. Is there anyway to disable BLE broadcast and pairing?

A second issue is that the BLE pairing shows A2DP option available when paired however I've looked through documentation and I cannot not find any reference to this service anywhere. Is there any way on disabling the A2DP function?

When using wiced_bt_ble_scan() we see that after restarting it with another call to wiced_bt_ble_scan() we do get advert data from peripherals which do not advertise anymore.

Here is what we do:

1. we start the scan with wiced_bt_ble_scan(), High Duty, no duplicate filtering and 2 minutes for the scan duration.

2. when the High Duty scan is finished it starts the Low Duty scan

3. when the Low Duty scan is finished we start over with 1.

We use Active Scan all the time to get the scan responses as well.

We are using SDK 6.4.0 running on a 20706/20707. But we have seen the very same behaviour with SDK 6.2.1.

The strange thing is that we do get called back with advert or scan response data for peripherals which do not advertise anymore. We see this effect for example when one of the peripherals change its static random BLE address. Then we do see callbacks for the old address and for the new address. Interestingly the payload of callbacks for the old address is typically empty.

How can this happen? How can we avoid seeing such stale BLE addresses?

We are using SPP profile and I am not sure how and where can I add the BT_LOCAL_NAME + WICED_DEVICE_ADDRESS.

I looked at the other post about MAC Address as a device local name but WICED_DEVICE_NAME returns unresolved.

Also would it work with BT_DEVICE_ADDRESS=random option when programming??

  I want to know if there is any sample code to use the CYW20735 SPI , if I can do the SPI  communication on the CYW920735q60EVB-01.

   it  seems that the SPI pin is not routed to the pin header.  Refer to the manual of CYW20735,it seems that there is only a set of SPI interface for the CYW20735

Hello,

I have been currently encountering a FW download fail on CYBT-353027.(EVB)

Belows are what I had tried so for.

1. Using Cypress WICED Studio 6.2

I tried to download hello sensor application to CYBT-353027 but always failed as screenshot below.

tried to reset CYBT-343026-EVAL board to factory default state. however, this causes nothing to affect to the board.

2. using WICED Client Control tool

According to "2.4 Downloading the Application to RAM" under the reference documentation named "WICED-HCI-Control-Protocol.pdf",

I had tried to use WICED Client Control tool for FW downloading.

However, it also always failed as screenshot below.

It seems there is no response of HCI reset command.

I tried to find the solution on the web for this problem but couldn't.

Could you look into this problem and help me out what I should try more?

    according to the documents ,I have  realized  the bluetooth mesh scene,but I have some doubts

1.  as we know,the CYW20735 have not  On-chip flash,so I think the scene configurations should be saved into the external flash,but I can't find out any code to save the scene configuration

2. the scene server  how to process the messages which come from scene client,  I  can only find the scene server message entry which is wiced_bt_mesh_model_scene_server_message_handler,but this function is encapsulated, what if I want to add my own application
