Studio Bluetooth Forum Discussions
Hi,
I am using CYW920719Q40EVB-01 with revision 01. I am looking for external programmer support for this development board. In this forum, what i can found is not working for me.
I was following the below discussion thread
Cypress CYW920719Q40-B1 eval kit debugging
The schematic i can get from https://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cyw920719q40evb-01-evaluation-kit is belongs to board revision 2.1, where the board i have is revision 01.
Can anyone guide me the schematic for board revision 01?
I am also looking for how can i perform firmware upgrade / flash firmware using J-LINK in this board?
Thank you.
Best regards.

Show LessHey Internet,
I had previous success developing the CYBT-413034-EVAL EZ-BT module with WICED STUDIO V6.2.1. I recently decided to do a clean update to WICED STUDIO V6.4. I noticed that the CYBT-413034-EVAL platform seems to be natively supported in V6.4 meaning that I did not need to follow chaitanyav_41 document "WICED Studio: Platform Files for CYBT-413034-EVAL – KBA223746" to add the updated platfrom files as previosuly was required. So that is nice... But here is the issue. No matter what test snip that I try to make for the CYBT-413034-EVAL the board doesn't seem to run. For example if you attempt to make the target "snip.bt.spp-CYBT_413034_EVAL download" the program will compile, and even upload to the board and it will say in the Console that the application is running but the Bluetooth module does not broadcast the SPP TEST that it should.
After further testing it seems that none of the test snips for the CYBT-413034-EVAL seem to actually work in this new V6.4 WICED STUDIO version. They all seem to compile and upload to the board just fine but they don't seem to actually begin running.
Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be great.
I have since reinstalled WICED STUDIO V6.2.1 and I am back up an running in the meantime.
Thanks,
Martin
Show LessHello,
I am working on CYBT-333047-02 evaluation board (CYW20706 chip), I am using spp example programm from wiced studio.
In order to analyse this program I am using Real term terminal on PC and Serial bluetooth terminal in Android device.
when I send the NUL (00 in HEX) character from android to bluetooth, I am not able to see it on Real term terminal on PC. other than NUL character I can see all other characters and number.
Can anyone please explain me why it is happening so ? what I should change in order to get the NUL character ?
Thank you.
Hi team Cypress,
I'd like to understand how mature / well tested the code example for A2DP source is?
- Any products on the market that uses this bt audio source stack?
- Any lists of sinks that is supported? I've seen on other BT audio source products that they have issues with some newer BT headphones incl. apple Airpod 2's
Thanks David
Show LessIs there function or other mean after have conn_id to get from conn_id if this connection is BLE or classic?
Let say the example given in 002-23400_AN223400_Getting_Started_with_EZ-BT_WICED_Modules.pdf
where SPP and Hello_sensor are merged - how in the code can distinguish the type of bluetooth connection and at what stage, because at the beginning both processes are same?
Thanks
Show LessHello Sir/Madam,
We have designed our own customized PCB board using CYBT-423028-02 module. A screenshot of a schematic is attached here.
Development environment:
Windows 8.1 pro
Platform: CYBT-423028-02 (Module)
IDE: Wiced Studio 6.2.1
Hardware: Customized hardware board using CYBT-423028-02 module
Also followed the steps suggested in this link: WICED Studio: Platform Files for CYBT-423028-EVAL - KBA223637
We are facing to program a CYBT-423028-02 module using USB-UART bridge.
Please note we have followed the hardware setup and connection as suggested in below link.
Programming an EZ-BT WICED Module – KBA223428
And tried to load an application to the module, got the output in a console as attached here.
Show LessI am not able to find the I2S library. I was expecting to find an I2S driver in HAL folder ... but it isn't. Checking the files the closest one (to I2S) is "wiced_hal_pcm.h"
Can you tell me where to find the I2S drivers/API in WICED for the CYW20719?
Show LessHello,
I am working on SPP example from the Wiced studio. This example is responsible to receive data and it sends the huge amount of data on the interrupt button.
But I would like to send the data as user input not as interrupt button, I tired to change the code and did some experiments but still I am not able to achieve it.
Could anyone please help me with this?
Thanks in advance.
Show LessI am in a senior design team at Mississippi State University. We are creating a heart rate monitor that can be used on the ankle. We have used the dev board up to this point but we are now in the second phase of the project in which we need to place the MCU on other needed components onto a PCB. We need a wiring schematic for the dev board so that we can see what components are needed and how that should be configured. We need the schematic as soon as possible so that we can continue our project.
Show LessCYBT-413034-02, I want to use the module. I got six. Is it possible to transfer sound with this? How can I do that ? Can I get the circuit diagram and software support?
