Studio Bluetooth Forum Discussions
Good day,
My query relates to the programming of a CYBT-353027-EVAL during development and subsequent programming during production.
At present to program a hex file on to the CYPRESS CYBT-353027-02 Bluetooth on the module we are using:
WICED Module Programmer which is in the zip file WICED_MOD_Prog_v1.5.19.102.zip
This was obtained from Infineon's knowledge base here:
I have searched for other sources of the programmer with Infineon and Cypress websites but do not find it within any SW download pages.
My questions are:
1) Is WICED_MOD_Prog_v1.5.19.102 the correct tool I should be using? It clearly works but seems obscure to find.
2) Is WICED_MOD_Prog_v1.5.19.102 deprecated, as it seems to only appear in the knowledge base thread and nowhere else within SW download pages, as one might expect if it was a 'mainstream' piece of SW.
Our end goal is to have SW that we can give to our board manufacturer for them to use to program the CYPRESS CYBT-353027-02 Bluetooth module with firmware (hex file) we supply.
kinds regards,
Steve
Show LessHi,
We use custom board as MCU with Bluetooth host running on it. Cypress CYBT_343026_EVAL connect with the MCU and run as a controller.
Our question is how to configure the SCO offload funtion? We have worked on this issue for a long time ,but not any progress.
Could anybody help us to check the issue? Thank you very much!
Show LessHello All,
Is it possible to transfer Audio data with BLE in Cyw920721b2evk-02 board?. I came across one post,in that it is mentioned that by using GATT notification packets it is possible. but for testing do we need to have custom application in mobile side?. or is there any standard to stream audio data with BLE. if there is any standard for BLE audio please let me know. and Android mobile wise is there any apps to test BLE audio?.
Thanks,
Nagarjuna.
Show LessWhat is the maximum height of the CYBT-343026 module?
It is described on page 4 of the data sheet, but the calculation method is not clear.
How should I use the UART port that is not in the combination of table9 (p21) in the module specification? (ex UART_RX (P34), PUART_RX (P4))
I plan to use GPIO of this module. I am planning to use only GPIO even when the RF part is not operating, but I could not find the description of the current consumption at this time.
Where can I get that information?
I would appreciate the materials.
I could not find any hardware specifications for the ADC built into the CYW20706.
Where can I get that information?
I would appreciate the materials.
Hello,
I tested the A2DP sink function using "snip.bt.a2dp_sink" in WICED-Studio-6.4. Program to CYBT-343026-02 , connect the I2S output according to the A2DP Sink Example on CYW20706 - Cypress Developer Community.
I use the phone to connect CYBT-343026-02 by bluetooth ,and then play music. It seemed that The CYBT-343026-02 can't receive audio stream. I also get the log, could you help to check it?

Hello.
I'm using WICED-Studio-6.2.1 for CYW20706.
Is there API for get random generated mac address??
I already called 'wiced_bt_dev_read_local_addr()' after 'wiced_bt_stack_init()'
but it showed me just local address that defined in 'CYW920706WCDEVAL_SFLASG.btp' like 20:70:6A:20:XX:XX
How can I get mac address that showed on BLE scanner APP (Like nRF Connect)
I want to get that address and print on my terminal.
