Hello,
I'm trying to communicate to HCI UART of CYBT-243053-02 EVAL from a host uC. The switch SW4 on the board is opened in order to access the UART through J1 connector. I'm using the default UART settings 115200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control. I'm basically trying to test that connection by sending and API text protocol /PING\n command but I haven't been able to receive anything back.
Is this module uart ready to work out of the box or does is it need to be especifically programmed? I understand that the module is set by default to work by with API text protocol format so my guess is that it should answer to a ping command right away, but obviously I'm missing something.
Thanks
Show LessHi,
I received a question about the EU EN300328 standard of CYBT-343026-01.
RE Directive Compliance Standard V2.2.2 has been OJ on February 5, 2020, and the transition deadline seems to be 2021/8/6.
Our customers refer to the module test report of CYBT-343026-01,
It is necessary to upgrade the module EN300328 standard to Ver.2.2.2 by Cypress with some buffer for the transition deadline.
When will the version be updated?
Please tell us the planned update schedule.
Regards,
Show LessHi all,
ETSI release below information on feb-5th.
ETSI replaced the following harmonised standards the references to which are published in the Official Journal of the European Union (4): EN 300 328 V2.1.1 replaced by EN 300 328 V2.2.2
EUR-Lex - 32020D0167 - EN - EUR-Lex
Question:
1. CYBT-343026-01 is affected?
2. When Cypress will align with EN 300 328 V2.2.2.
BR,
Uehara
Show LessHello,
Is it possible to use the CYW20706 in embedded mode and pair with ANY headset for hands-free using only buttons (no menu driven app or display)?
Thanks.
Show LessWith the CYW20735B1 we would need to get iOS IAP2 implemented. Does the firmware already support EA Sessions and Location Updates? Is such a modification allowed with a provided SDK, etc.?
Show LessHi all:
Now I use the MeshLighting which is supported by cypress to give the device remote firmware upgrade .
the OTA interface is below:
the Firmware file is XXX-CYW920735Q60EVB_01-rom-ram-Wiced-release.ota.bin
but I don't know what is the metadata file
there are some selections for example proxy DFU to all , proxy DFU to device, app DFU to all , app DFU to device
I don't know the difference between them during OTA!
thanks!

Show LessHi all:
I have not found the API to notify the status changes of a node to the app, this question will cause the app status is out of sync with device status
the status is light lightness, color temperature value, and so on !
thanks!

Show LessHi folks,
first post on the forum, little intro on the setup :
Running modified version of SPP example (snip/bt/spp) on WICED-Studio-6.4 with cybt-353027, SPI communication is acheive with third party sensor. I would like to increase the amount of buffer pool to "buffer" data when connexion is weak or the device get out of range. I have modified the # of Large buffer to 75.
{ 360, 40, }, /* Medium Buffer Pool (used for HCI & RFCOMM control messages, min recommended size is 360) */
{ 1056, 75, }, /* Large Buffer Pool (used for HCI ACL messages) */
Altough, when connexion is weak/lost, GKI_poolfreecount(SPP_BUFFER_POOL) return a minimum of 64 free buffer and never get lower then that. Dataloss occurs when the # of buffer reach 64. I have tried with multiple value and same behavior occurs. 50 pools get a min at 42.
I prefer not to post the code because of NDA.
I was wondering if there is any internal limitation on the amount of buffer ?
Thank you,
Christophe
