hello, Is there any document related to how to use ADC. I am using CYBT_343026-01 and want to use two adc fro temperature and battery services. is there any example?

Hi,
we are using BCM20704 BLE controller which supports BT 4.2 one of our product which is central role for BLE connection. The Peripheral device is BT 5.o and Legacy justwork pairing is used for Bonding with all the key (LTK with EDIV and Rand,IRK,CSRK) distribution on both initiator and responder side. For first time connection to the central is success while on successive re connection it is failed due to MIC check failure after receiving LL_START_ENC_RSP packet from Central(BCM20704) . Though we have tested the peripheral device with few other BLE devices like BlueZ and Android and it is working without any connection issues. Any suggestion .
Show Lessif i download a code successfully, once the code is loaded. Next time if i try to download application, it fails? Every time i have to follow the below steps for programming.
What is the problem?
If this problem persists, the serial flash on the board may be corrupted. |
| Follow below steps to reset CYBT-343026-EVAL board to factory default state. |
| Note: This will erase any user applicaiton in the memory and reset the board to dafulat state |
| 1. Press and hold RECOVER button (SW2) |
| 2. Press and hold RESET button (SW1) for 1 second |
| 3. Release SW1 |
| 4. Release SW2 |
| 5. Re-program the board
does that mean my serial flash is getting corrupted everytime?
Show LessHi,
I am using the "CYBT-343026-01 WICED EZ-Serial FW Image V1.1.14" program on a “CYBT-343026-EVAL” board.
I am using as a reference the document “EZ-Serial WICED Firmware Platform User Guide for CYW2070x-based Modules.pdf”.
I have some questions about this set.
1.
I try to change the device name by the command “gap_set_device_name (SDN, ID=4/15)”.
I verify that the name is modified by the command “gap_get_device_name (GDN, ID=4/16)”:
so I am sure that the stored name is actually changed.
But when I try to connect my device, the name seen in the air is always the default name “EZ-Serial …”
Where is my mistake?
2.
During connection/unconnection I receive some events, 16/4 16/2 16/3, but these events are
not documented in the reference pdf.
What is the meaning of these events?

[Description]
For RF test, I'm trying to use mbt tool during Bluetooth HCI mode.
In the case of mbt tool, No response from chip after sending mbt commands. On the other hand, in the case of wmbt tool, it works well.
[Environent]
- DUT: CYBT-343026-EVAL board.
- WICED-Studio version: 6.4
- Host Platform: Windows 10
[Log (Reset command)]
<mbt tool>
...\WICED-Studio-6.4\wiced_tools\mbt\Win32>mbt reset
MBT_TRANSPORT: COM6
DOWNLOAD_BAUDRATE: 115200 (default)
APPLICATION_BAUDRATE: 115200 (default)
Sending HCI Command:
0000 < 03 0C 00 >
⇒No response
<wmbt tool>
...\WICED-Studio-6.4\wiced_tools\wmbt\Release>wmbt.exe reset COM6
MBT_BAUD_RATE: 115200
TRANSPORT_MODE: 0 (HCI)
Opened COM6 at speed: 115200
Close Serial Bus
Opened COM6 at speed: 115200
Sending HCI Command:
0000 < 01 03 0C 00 >
Received HCI Event:
0000 < 04 0E 04 01 03 0C 00 >
Success
Close Serial Bus
⇒ Works fine
[Consideration]
The difference between mbt and wmbt is "01" existence or not.
mbt: < 03 0C 00 >
wmbt: 01 03 0C 00
My understanding is the "01" is necessary for Bluetooth HCI mode.
[Question]
Does the mbt tool support Bluetooth HCI command? (not wiced HCI command)
If no, in the case of Bluetooth HCI mode, does Cypress recommend to use wmbt instead of mbt?
Thanks,
Yoshinori
Show LessHello
I am using a CYBT-413034 module to implement the BT SPP profile in Wiced Studio 6.2.0
I've got the SPP example running on the board, and can pair and connect with the device.
When the spp connection is up, I begin streaming data periodically out. I notice after several minutes of operation that the transmissions halt. I've tried increasing the no. of buffers used by the SPP (wiced_bt_cfg_buf_pools) but this has not helped.
I have noticed that I receive a change in power status notification Power mgmt status event: bd (b8 31 b5 82 be c7 ) status:2 hci_status:0 coincidental with the transmission failure. I attempt to set the module back to normal by issuing a wiced_bt_dev_cancel_sniff_mode() request, but by that point its too late, my streaming service has halted.
I have seen the previous post on SNIFF, but I'm not convinced this mode does not affect the ability to transmit.
Is there any way to disable the SNIFF mode and run in a normal power state with this module?

Keith Fowler
Show LessHi
when I use CyBluetool, I want send the ACL data to the Crypress Controller by HCI interface.
How to send Acl data to the Crypress controller with CyBluetool?
And, how to read the Crypress controller log? such as LMP/LL log, RF receive/send IQ data log.
Thanks
Show LessHi All,
Please tell me the profiles used in the sample program.
[Background]
We are planning to create a program with similar functionality to " ble_wifi_introducer " .
I would like to know what profile is used in the sample program to estimate the Bluetooth certification fee.
Software environment:
- WICED 6.2.1 or 6.4
- sample program : ble_wifi_introducer
[Question]
What Bluetooth profiles and protocols are used in the sample program ?
Best Regards,
Sakagami
