Hi Everyone,
According to the data sheet of CYBT-333032
Document Number: 002-25196 Rev. * A
Table 13
1. Connected (Connected with no data transfer) current consumption is 2.6mA.
2. Connected + SNIFF (Connected with no data transfer + SNIFF (500 ms)) consumes 0.95mA.
Please tell me the reason why 2 is smaller than 1.
Is it correct as the following guess?
(1 is the operation at the time of master, 2 is the operation at the time of slave?)
Thanks,
Yang
Show LessHello @AnjanaM_61 ,
I am using CYBT-413034 module and IDE Wiced Studio 6.4. i have implemented Low_power_sensor code, but the problem i am facing is my device doesn't enter sleep mode? as current consumption remains the same.
Below are my configuration setting
make target
demo.low_power_sensor-CYBT_413034_EVAL SLEEP_MODE=SLEEP_MODE_TRANSPORT SLEEP_TYPE=SLEEP_TYPE_SHUTDOWN download
hello_sensor_sleep_config.sleep_mode = WICED_SLEEP_MODE_TRANSPORT;
hello_sensor_sleep_config.device_wake_gpio_num = WICED_P17;
hello_sensor_sleep_config.device_wake_mode = WICED_SLEEP_WAKE_ACTIVE_HIGH;
hello_sensor_sleep_config.device_wake_source = WICED_SLEEP_WAKE_SOURCE_GPIO;
hello_sensor_sleep_config.host_wake_mode = WICED_SLEEP_WAKE_ACTIVE_HIGH;
hello_sensor_sleep_config.sleep_permit_handler = hello_sensor_sleep_handler;
after 10 second it goes into hello_sensor_sleep_handler() function, even going into
case : WICED_SLEEP_POLL_SLEEP_PERMISSION:
if( hello_sensor_state.application_state == HELLO_SENSOR_IDLE )
{
#ifdef ENABLE_SHUTDOWN_SLEEP
ret = WICED_SLEEP_ALLOWED_WITH_SHUTDOWN;
WICED_BT_TRACE("$");
#else
ret = WICED_SLEEP_ALLOWED_WITHOUT_SHUTDOWN;
As i can see "$" sign continuously printing (every 1 sec) on Terminal.
What could be the error?
Thank You!
Show LessHi
I am use CYW20706A2. and I want to connect special central device(BLE)
special central device prefer use LE 2M.
so it send LL_PHY_REQ after device connected. But CYW20706A2 don't send LL_PHY_RSP
(my SDK is wiced studio6.4 and modus2.2(BTSDK2.8))
According to "BT Core Doccument", if device receive LL_PDU_REQ, device have to send LL_PDU_RSP
But CYW20706A2 don't send it and LE data packet for connection.
so device is disconnected. why don't send LL_PHY_RSP on CYW20706A2??

Hello,
I installed WICED-Studio-6.6 for mac (Big Sur, 11.1) to run my CYW920706WCDEVAL Evaluation Kit.
Despite of successful installation, I can not see the 20706-A2_Bluetooth folder in WICED-Studio-6.6 under Documents. But I can see 43xxx_Wi-Fi folder instead.
tried also reinstallation but there is still no 20706-A2_Bluetooth folder.
am i doing something incorrectly? or is there anything to do more during installation?
Regards,
Eunsung
Show LessWe would like to know that cypress supports any universal programmer like Cyclone FX, Cyclone LC and SMH flash runner.
So can you please suggest a universal programmer that should support to program the BLE module (CYBT-343026) and controller (CYT2BL).
Show LessWe want to control the output of the GPIO by changing the registers.
Is it possible to know the address of the register?
This is because we are using a dynamic test tool.
Thanking in advance.

Show LessHello sir,
请问下CYBLE-013025-00 透传的协议文档在哪里可以找到?
谢谢
Hello
1.
I was previously taught by the thread below how to use CYBT-343026-01 in HCI mode.
https://community.cypress.com/t5/WICED-Studio-Bluetooth/About-the-WICED-HCI-protocol/m-p/57884#M1051
When I used the Inquiry command to search for peripheral devices after booting in HCI mode, no Inquiry result was returned.
Do I need to make any other settings after booting?
(I can find multiple devices by running the Inquiry command in EZ-Serial mode.)
2.
I also found the description However you may need to program it initially with firmware / patches. In the thread below.
Also, does this have anything to do with the behavior in Question 1?
Isn't it possible to use standard HCI just by switching to HCI mode by operating SPI_MOSI and CTS at reset?
Is it possible to provide firmware / patches for Android?
Best Regards
Hayato
Show LessWhen I run sdptool search SP, the device(android smartphone) displayed available SP service and channel as 8. This device has bluetooth terminal app.
sdptool search SP
Inquiring ...
Searching for SP on mac_adddr ...
Service Name: Serial Port
Service Description: COM Port
....
Service RecHandle: 0x10000
Service Class ID List:
"Serial Port" (0x1101)
Protocol Descriptor List:
"L2CAP" (0x0100)
"RFCOMM" (0x0003)
Channel: 8
...
"Serial Port" (0x1101)
Version: 0x0100
But I was not able to get SP service of another android device(doesnot have bluetooth terminal app) by running same (sdptool search SP).
sdptool search SP
Inquiring ...
Searching for SP on mac_adddr ...
and it terminates.
When I tried sdptool browse mac_adddr ,the output resulted with no SP support.
When I run same commands to get service of ios device, I was able to fetch Serial Port (SP) and it's channel of iOS device.
Whether android device doesnot expose it's serial port and channel number? How can I get the channel number without bluetooth terminal application?Whether bluetooth terminal app creates SP channel for android device and it doesnot have it's own?
Thanking in advance.
Show LessHi,
I have connected a microphone via i2s on the CYW920719 board.
Is the only way to reroute the audio output from the microphone to A2DP through wiced_audio_start() and setting the route to AUDIO_ROUTE_I2S?
Also, is there a way to sample the microphone digitially (it is a 24-bit microphone) as hex or bytes?
Thanks so much in advance!
