Studio Bluetooth Forum Discussions
Hi I was hoping someone could clarify the difference between the Demo apps and the Host app that is included in the sample applications in WICED. I checked the README file but it just said the host app application communicates with embedded HCI apps over the WICED HCI interface.
If my CYW20719 application is supposed to be programmed into the CYW20719 SoC and run as a standalone program on the chip would I still need to do a host app? Thank you.
Show LessHi, CY expert,
I would like use P15 of CYW20706 as GPIO, and I try this but the output of this pin remain high, about 3V
wiced_hal_gpio_set_pin_output(WICED_P15, GPIO_PIN_OUTPUT_LOW);
I noticed there is P04 control method in another topic, so how about this pin?

Show LessI have read WICED-HCI-Control-Protocol.pdf,
I have some questions.
could you tell me how to understand the codes?mifoWICED Studio Bluetooth ForumsHCI Commands question(1)
Show LessHello,
In wiced_hal_nvram.h, it says applications have access to NVRAM blocks 0x200-0x3FFF. That is ~15k blocks, each with 255 bytes. That works out to being ~3MB, which I believe is far more data than we have access to on the chip. So how much NVRAM can I use at any given moment?

Show LessThe Bluetooth application in most smartphones with a dual-mode BT chip can find and connect to both Bluetooth classic and LE devices.
Is there any way to use the Bluetooth Designer program included in WICED Studio to build an application that scans and connects to Bluetooth devices (both classic and LE)? Or is this feature a limitation of the Bluetooth Designer program and I have to instead write it manually?
Show LessHi,
I recently brought the CYW20719 EVAL kit, and i would like to do a RF Rx test, can you help me how to do a Radio Rx test? whether i'll get the transmitted bit pattern on any one of the I/O Pin else i need to read any register values, if yes what are the HCI commands that i should use.
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I'm user of 'CYW20706'.
I will use the Bluetooth Module of CYBT-343026-01.
I read blog 'Configuring the Bluetooth device address in CYW20706'.
https://community.cypress.com/community/wiced-studio-blueooth/wiced-studio-bluetooth-forums/blog/2018/01/24/configuring-the-bluetooth-device-address-in-cyw20706
'Company' is written in this document .
Which is 'Company', Cypress or user?
If user is answer, Do I have to write the DB_address in our production?

Show Less1. What programmer/debugger can I use for CYW20706, CYW20707, CYW20719?
2. Also do I need EEPROM for any of the chips if I am just trying to run simple Bluetooth IoT application on the chips? Will Bluetooth stack run on the chip MCU or do I need to host stack outside the MCU?

A search of Bluetooth Headset and a connection are done from a AG screen of "ClientControl" of the PC connected.
Next I want to do the following control.
Would I be able to control from "ClientControl" of PC?
When it's possible, please teach me the way.
And if not, please teach me a source cord change point.
1) Modification method of AFH.
2) Ringing to Bluetooth Headset. (transmission method of AT Command.)
3) Modification method of PIN Code.
4) Modification method of Visibility.
5) Volume modification method to Bluetooth Headset.
