Is there any CYBT modules that support HSP AG ?
I want to know the capability of WICED or module first so you do not care BT SIG certification(QDID).
I am using CYBT-343026-EVAL with WICED 6.2 now.
I want to return back to Connect when Bluetooth headset power On from power off.
Now sometimes it returns back to Connect,but it often does not Rerun back to Connect.
I do a survey about the code.
I have found in hci_control_ag_rfcomm.c
void hci_control_ag_rfcomm_control_callback( uint32_t port_status, uint16_t port_handle )
[if ( ( port_handle == p_scb->rfc_serv_handle ) || ( port_handle == p_scb->rfc_conn_handle ) )]
If it is true ,it can return back to Connect.
Also,I have found the port_handle is created in blow
rfcomm_result = wiced_bt_rfcomm_create_connection( UUID_SERVCLASS_HF_HANDSFREE,
( wiced_bt_port_mgmt_cback_t * )hci_control_ag_rfcomm_control_callback );
But I don not know how does wiced_bt_rfcomm_create_connection() works,
I read API-REF-20706-A2_Bluetooth.pdf,It is only have some description,I want to know more about wiced_bt_rfcomm_create_connection.

I want to use the CYBT-343026-EVAL like I did with the CY8KIT-042-BLE with a CYBLE-224014-EVAL loaded with the EZ-serial
from the unboxed CYBT-343026-EVAL there is no boot message after releasing the reset swith on P-UART or HCI-UART
- like it was on the CYBLE-224014.
is the CYBT-343026 on the eval board loaded with the EZ-serial firmware "CYBT-343026-01 WICED EZ-Serial FW Image V1.1.14 (.hex, .cgs)"
other suggestions to try / do ?
I am now using CYBT-343026-01 module on my board. I would like to play the module just as the HCI module. What is missing now is to load the correct hcd file to get it work. Could anyone tell me how to get it? The default device name on the module is BCM20703A2.Show Less
We found the transmission output level setting range is "-25dBm to +3dBm"
from [Manufacturing-Bluetooth-Test-Tool.pdf].(In "9 Radio TX Test" , page 11)
(+3dBm is also MAX value for "Continuous Transmit Test" on page 9)
But, we confirmed data sheet of CVBT-343026-01 found
that the maximum output can reach +12dBm when Bluetooth_Classic.
We want to know if the Tx output can reach +12dBm?
I am trying to develop a application which supports both Classic Bluetooth and BLE.
I recently bought a development KIT for CYW920719Q40EVB-01. Is there a example application where at-least one of the classic Bluetooth profiles are implemented.
I have a question is this even possible.

I follow the content of "CYW920719Q40EVB-01 Evaluation Board User Guide.pdf" on page 17 to "Make Target" of "demo.hello_sensor-CYW920719Q40EVB_01 download". It's fail even I used the combination of the "Recovery" and "Reset" buttons on board. My computer is HP Pavilion 590-P0086 desktop computer runninh Windows 10.
Please refer to the screen capture of the image attached, it's shown the COM port detection, the TeraTerm display and the message of the Wiced screens. The other image is the jumper setting of the hardware, as the original setting from you and matched with the jumper requirement from your document.
If possible, please give some comment if I could send some command to HCI to verify the unit. By the way, the echo message on the TeraTerm screen is during the regular boot up. If using the "Recovery"/"Reset" buttons, that screen is no any information popped up.
It is a simple question and just wanted to figure out how to configure the Multiplexed GPIO_Pxx pins for CYW20706?
Specifically I wanted to configure C8 pin to output the T/R switch control (TX_PD)? I believe by default it is a GPIO.
I want to use the CYBT-343026 in conjuction with a Linux Host Computer. As far as I have seen there are 2 possible communication ways over a Uart-connection - the standard HCI mode (which I want to use) and the WICED HCI mode which seem to provide a communication way with the Bluetooth protocol which was formerly programmed into the modules flash memory.
Is there an example application to configure the CYBT-343026 non volatile to be used like a Bluetooth radio - just setting a specific baud rate on the UART and then communicating over the standard HCI protocol (I guess H4) in conjunction with the Linux Bluetooth stacks?
While searching in the community database I have found several "solutions" which are sometimes very different, such as:
1. In the support case "Linux driver for CYBT 343026" the solution seems to be "just download a patch (or an empty application) and then send HCI commands over HCI UART."
2. In the KBA225450 the solution seems to be loading the flash with any non-Bluetooth project (Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Bluetooth BR/EDR) for example GPIO application which is part of the SDK.
3. Also mentioned in KBA225450: "...pull the SPI2_MOSI pin low on Power ON to put the device in HCI mode where it starts accepting all HCI commands."
4. In the support case "CYW20719 in HCI mode the following method is described: Create a project with an empty application and program it into the flash. Then send a HCI reset command ((01 03 0C 00) (01)
I have tried most of the mentioned solutions above, but I had no success to talk to the module from the linux side (hciattach -> "hciconfig hci0 up" -> fail).
Therefore my question: What is the prefered way to bring the CYBT-343026 into "standard" hci mode?
