The AURIX™ Development Studio is a free of charge Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for the TriCore™-based AURIX™ microcontroller family. It is a comprehensive development environment, including Eclipse IDE, C-Compiler, Multi-core Debugger, Infineon low-level driver (iLLD), with no time and code-size limitations that enables editing, compiling, and debugging of application code. Combined with numerous code example projects, the IDE can be used to evaluate the powerful architecture of the AURIX™ microcontroller family. It supports Microsoft Windows 10 as a host operating system (OS).
I would like to use CyDelay() from a .c file in my project. So I #included CyLib.h. But this causes the error:
Error: L104 MULTIPLE PUBLIC DEFINITIONS
MODULE: E:\Repositories\Parts\GPS_Tracker_2\GPS_Tracker_PSoC\GPS_Tracker_PSoC.cydsn\DP8051-Keil_Generic\Debug\GPS.OBJ (GPS)
DEFINED: E:\Repositories\Parts\GPS_Tracker_2\GPS_Tracker_PSoC\GPS_Tracker_PSoC.cydsn\DP8051-Keil_Generic\Debug\GM862GPS.OBJ (GM862GPS)
How can I use CyDelay() without causing this error?
All, I have a working project that I want to expand off of, and want to create a totally seperate backup from. I want to be able to save into its own directory and name, and not have any ties into the next version. I also have the USB dependencies that I want to save along with it and have it incorporated into my new project.

Hi, when i try to create a new project, in the select base part section i could not find the chip that i want to use, which is CY8C20424. can anyone help?
i am using the 8c29466 in a sensor application mounted on the shaft of a generator in a power plant.
i am using the atraflex awp24s module
i wanted to use the cyfispi module, but only the cyfisnp shows up in the rf user modules.
the files for the cyfispi are in the following directory
C:\Program Files\Cypress\PSoC Designer\5.1\Common\CypressSemiDeviceEditor\Data\SHAREDUM\CYFISPI
how can i accomplish this?
i would use the snp but i can not find a sniffer to test if the packets are being generated
artaflex has the awp24u which works with the cyfispi (fixed channel, freq, ect...)
is there a usb hub with sniffer app that will work with the cyfisnp?
appreciate any helpShow Less
(I have 've posted a similar message in the PSoC1 forum, but this one seems to be far more suitable for that, please excuse me for multi-posting)
When we switched to PSoC Designer 5 (and the free ImageCraft compiler supplied with it) functional errors appeared in an application, which worked correctly before. Debugging shows, that the following line in the programhas no (expected) effect:
memset (displayLine, ' ', DISPLAY_SIZE);
However, if the above line is preceeded by a code, which stores displayLine's page number in the MVW_PP register, memset works correctly. (Maybe the library should have been adapted to make sure it will work regardless of what default paging mode is set by the compiler?)
Have anyone else encoutered a imilar problem? What is the advisable solution (should we modify the code)?Show Less
