There is still an error in PSoC Designer 5.2

   

csprintf(Buffer,"%8.3f",FloatNumber)

   

returns part of the second argument ("8.3f") instead of the converted number.

 I would like to see more options in the device selector.

   

Especially, I would like to be able to filter results on the availability of Fixed Dunction Blocks, such as USB. So for example I could just see all the PSoC3 devices which have USB ability. (Or any of the other fixed function blocks, like I2C, I2S etc).

I have created a project and have the output working to a point using the help file with the POSHL001 APP. right now I have the hall pattern and motor pattern functioning correctly as I rotate the motor and hall pattern is updated, but the output that will go to the driver has modulation working on all 6 lines. I am trying for high side PWM I have modulation going the the 3 high side fets but the low siide that should not have modulation are also being modulated. What signal or other mapping is needed? Using the 8 bit you would create a modulation pattern and output pattern but not sure how that is accomplished in the APP. Show Less

Apparently the LED module refers to the need for the user to

   

use Shadow Registers, but datasheet does not convey the module

   

takes care of this for the user. Eg,. user does not have to place

   

a separate Shadow Register module to use the LED Module.

The nomenclature on plots is confusing.

   

 

   

"Nominal" should be changed to "desired" or "ideal"

   

 

   

"Expected" should be changed to "PSOC actual" or "PSOC result".

Would be nice if right clicking in either of these views a .bmp or .jpg picture of

   

just that part of the desktop view could be saved. Including when veiw is magnified.

I tried hard to understand the "Component Author Guide" but some things are not quite clear to me:

   

When I want to design a component that uses several I/O pins and the number of pins should be parameterized in the configuration dialog

   

1st. How to generate in Verilog (or is there a better/easier way?) the pins

   

2nd. How to set the properties of the pins (even if they are all the same)
