What is the difference between the BTS71040-4ESA and the BTS71040-4ESP? Their OPN suffixes are the same: BTS710404ESAXUMA1 and BTS710404ESPXUMA1 I don't see anything obvious on the data sheets and the parametric search table entries appear to be identical. The -4ESA does have CVSGND as optional. Is there a way to determine the difference on the infineon.com site?

I have recently noticed how my board built around BTS70802EPAXUMA1 will not work when a bimetallic flasher is employed.
The PROFET is supposed to allow current coming from a bimetallic blinker to pass through to one or two 21W light bulbs.
This board works perfectly with electromechanical / electronic flashers, but not with the bimetallic variety.
I have measured the voltage on IN_1 pin and it is 3.3V as expected. Hence, the PROFET ought to be conducting, but it is not. This makes me think that the bimetallic blinkers cause some condition that the PROFET interprets as fault and one or more of its numerous protection mechanisms engages and quickly closes the FET channel.
Is this likely to be the case and if so, is there anything to be done about it ?

I see in BTS7008 d/s that there is an optional choice to add zener + res on IS pin. Could you please tell when we should add them and when shouldn't?
And do we need to add external TVS on VS to pass ISO7637 pulse? Any test report sharable here? Thanks.

One of my devices has several of those high side switches inside. One of them seems to be non functioning anymore so I would like to know if there is any replacement for it?
I looked up for similar switches on the webpage but nothing seems to fit.

According to our suppliers, AUIR3315STRL is obsoleted. We use AUIR3315STRL in many of our products.
Any suggestions for direct replacement would be appreciated.

In the process of load opening and load short-circuiting of the high side switch, I want to simulate the first normal working condition and then realize the abnormal working condition of load opening and load short-circuiting respectively through the series and parallel connection of delay switch, but I won't use the time-delay switch on the simulation platform during the process, may I ask how to set up to realize that it can be closed or opened in a specific period of time?

When referring to high side switch manuals, such as the one for the BTS7040-1EPA, I have a slight question about the metrics in the supply voltage section.
1. The chip has a normal operating voltage VS (NOR) indicator, so what is the significance of the Extended Supply Voltage? In this extended voltage can also allow the chip to be in a long time in the normal state of operation?
2. For the minimum value of the lower voltage limit of 3.1V and the maximum value of the upper voltage limit of 28V, is there a basis for the determination of these two indexes in accordance with the requirements of the vehicle regulations, or is your product capable of doing so?

Show Less请问高边开关仿真如何仿真出Inverse current情况 我将负载设置为100mH的电感与3omhs的电阻串联来作为一个步进电机的模型,再将IN输入设为3Khz。
此时我观察到在IN低电平之后,Vout近似等于Vs的值。在我的理解里,当IN为低电平之后就应该出现Vout高于Vs的情况了,为什么Vout最多只能达到Vs的值。
