Just wanted to check, if you want to use ota upgrades to program the 20737, can you do that the first time you get the 20737 chip? Or do you have to program the 20737 using the HCI UART the first ever time you get your boards from the factory?

OTA cannot be used for first time programming. It has to be the HCU UART as noted.

Programming 20737S module through HCI UART is necessary for the first time.
By the way, the application including OTA upgrade is stored into NVRAM.
So you need to prepare EEPROM/SFLASH for 20737 chip.
(20737S module contains 64KB EEPROM.)
