I am using BCM20737s and would like to send my device ADV visible for all devices, but could only connect to the specific set of central devices.
is this possible?
Show LessI have a new Problem with my application:
Sometimes my application (handset) can't receive advertisments from my sensors.
For further tests I set up a second sensor.
But if my handset is connected to one sensor, there is no callback of advertisements of my second sensor, but with a smartphone I can see the second sensor is still advertising.
Anybody a hint what I forgot to call so my handset can connect to more than one sensor?
Show LessI am running a simple application on the BCM20736S, and I am hoping for a fast startup. I am not using BLE at all in my application for now. It is a long story, but for the moment I am just using the fast timer callback, I2C, PUART and a some simple logic in the code.
My problem is that I see slow and inconsistent operation of the fast timer callback, especially at startup. It gets called a few times a second, sometimes once every few seconds. The rate is currently set to 10ms, which should give me 80Hz call rate for the best case. Here is my debug output where I simply print a counter value from the fast timer interrupt.
Hours:Minutes:Seconds - Counter
15:30:49 - 29
15:30:49 - 30
15:30:49 - 31
15:30:49 - 32
15:30:50 - 33
15:30:53 - 34
15:30:53 - 35
15:30:54 - 36
15:30:54 - 37
15:30:54 - 38
15:30:55 - 39
15:30:55 - 40
15:30:55 - 41
15:31:08 - 42
After I run for awhile, this slow behavior will sometimes go away, and sometimes not. When it is working well, I see a consistent 80Hz rate of timer callbacks. I am hoping for this behavior all the time.
My questions are:
1. Is there a way to turn off the BLE tasks (or other processor hungry tasks) that are keeping the fast timer callback from running? I have a simple application, so do not need BLE at this point.
2. Is this normal behavior for this part? Is there a way to improve it?
Thanks in advance,
Aaron
Show LessI am trying to communicate to BCM20737 tag board with peripheral uart. I followed the puart functionality from puart_contorl example
Also what I send to terminal using puart_print/puart_write is displaying correctly. So I think the setup is correct.
The problem I see is what ever value I receive from puart_read is not same as value I send from terminal, please let me know what can be the reason for this behavior.
FYI : I have set the same baud rate on PC and BCM20737
Thanks
Show LessHi Sir ,
I want use MCU Control Bcm2073X Kit through UART ,
sample app tx rx pin is
GPIO_PIN_UART_TX 32 ,
GPIO_PIN_UART_RX 33 ,
Can tell me Where Tx,Rx , Power , GND Pin on 2073X kit ?
Thanks you !
Show LessPer this thread: Application Button in WICED Sense Smart Tag
Has anyone made any progress towards exposing the button status to connected applications?
Thanks.

Show Lessi modified hello_client App(BCM92073X). for multi connections. (multi slaves)
for adv during connection,
i add "bleprofile_Discoverable(HIGH_UNDIRECTED_DISCOVERABLE, NULL);" at ends of connup_callback(BLECM_APP_EVT_LINK_UP)
and ends of conndown_callback(BLECM_APP_EVT_LINK_DOWN).
if no connection, adv works high_undirected_interval for high_undirected_duration, and low_undirected_interval for low_undirected_duration
but !!
if one connection is established, adv works high_undirected_interval, forever.
i really don't know why.
Besides, when i edited some code(addconmux, whitelist), adv works high_undirected_interval for high_undirected_duration, and low_undirected_interval for high_undirected_duration and stop!
Show LessAs I understand, when android request 'pairing', connup_callback and conndown_callback are called sequentially.
next, when android request 'connection', connup_callback is called.
is that right?
if so, can i know whether this event is paring or connection in connup_callback?
Show LessHI. Does anyone know if the WICED SENSE works with an ipad 2 running IOS 7? Much appreciated. Keivan
