Hi,
I have a BCM20736S custom board and a second UART custom board.
My BCM20736S board needs to always send and receive periodic data from the UART board.
Every 40ms data is sent from the BCM20736S board to the UART board and received from it (packet length is between 14 and 140). The UART communication needs to be ALWAYS active.
The BCM20736S custom board has a SPI flash containing saved data.
With a smartphone:
The user can ask for data stored in the UART board. In this case, the BCM20736S board received a BLE command and ask the UART board (UART command). When the UART board responds, the BLCM20736 board sends data to the smartphone.
The user can also ask for data in SPI flash, in this case, the custom BCM20736 board gets data from the SPI and sends them to the smartphone.
Do you think the BCM20736 can support these timing constraints?
I have no access to DMA SPI commands so I have a doubt for the periodic sending of the UART data during a SPI read.
Thanks
Show LessDear representative,
While using Linux OS, is there any way to disable one of the 2x BLE devices, automatically attached, to the Linux OS?
There is a way to disable both BLE with this command, e.g.:
echo '2-1' > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usb/unbind #OFF
Doing so does not achieve what I need because I only want to disable one of the 2x Cypress BLE devices.
Any help on this matter is appreciated.
Thanks.
Show LessHello
We tried to work with the device CYBT-343026 in HCI mode.
For short period it was working and now we can’t receive any feedback.
We tried to do the hard reset with no success.
We tried to communicate using UART communication which the hex code:
01 03 0c 00.
We tried to rewrite the FW using the Bootloader Host, but we received communication error
When trying to flash the image firmware although the port is connected with baud rate of 115,200

Show LessHi,
Does CYW20719 support the bluetooth mesh function?
I see from the CYW comparison table on the web page that there is no mesh function.
The comparsion table is as follows
CYW20719 in the preliminary datasheet is not specifically marked with MESH function.
But I found in the AN227069 document that CYW20719 can use MESH.
I got a little confused.
Does anyone know which information is correct in this part?
If CYW20719 does have the MESH function, is the development environment still in WICED STUDIO?
Is the MESH function program easy to develop?
Thanks.

Since we are not controlling bt module through any host, We had left the "Host_wake" pin unconnected.
Share step by step procedure document. Suggest what to configure for sleep parameters.
Our requirement:
We want to configure device in SDS mode.
The device should wake only on bluetooth connection request reception, once the connection breaks it should back in sleep mode until next bluetooth activity.
Show LessHi,
What's the difference between CYW20719B2 and CYW20719B1?
Thanks
Hi CYPRESS,
I downloaded BLE Proximity Profile - CYW20719 / CYW20735 example from
https://community.cypress.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/38-37254/Proximity%20Profile.zip ,
Unfortunatele, this zip file is damaged!
Thanks
Show LessI just installed Modus Toolbox 2.0.
I wanted to choose wiced_btsdk for Board: CYW920819EVB-02. I get the error message: Failed to locate modus-shell.
I am running Linux.
What can I do?
