Smart Bluetooth Forum Discussions
I'm not sure if this forum is the right place to ask this, but I'm sort of at a dead end...
Our company has completed the prototype of a new product using the BCM9207X_LE_KIT. We are now ready to move to our own PCB, for which we intend to use a BCM20736S SIP. Unfortunately our distributor (Avnet Express) only sells those in quantities of 2,500 and will not provide samples. How can we obtain a few samples of that SIP?
Best,
Javier
BCM20736S
Hi All,
I am trying to switch the pins on the buzzer and buttons for the hello sensor sample app. I was wondering if someone could tell me the exact lines to modify. I want to modify the buzzer to PIN26 and the button to PIN24.
I also have a question on the IRQ setup. Below I have some code to setup a IRQ handler. It works on PIN4 which I had previously set it up for but not for PIN24. This doesn't seem correct since a UINT16 could not handle 1<<24.
#define BUTTON_PIN 24
UINT16 masks[3] = {(1 << BUTTON_PIN), 0 , 0};
gpio_registerForInterrupt(masks, gpio_interrupt_handler, NULL);
Thank you,
George
Show LessHi,
My question is regarding the UL document “Notified Body Statement of Opinion” of the Broadcom Chip BCM20732S
In case of the safety requirement of the BCM20732S the EN 60950 is relevant. What is tested?. Is it possible to get the test report to take over some test sequences for the own product, without additional test for the end product. Therefore it is necessary to get the report. Please send me the UL E-File number for the BCM20732S.
The report refers the EN60950, covers also the report the UL 60950, are the national differences defined?
Show LessWe meet one problem when developing our application,
issue:
We allocate a 8KB global (.bss) array in our app. and still find free memory is available ~ 5KB.
and in first download the build is ok and system can boot up and run. However, if we try to add code
to access this array and download image again (2nd download) and it show download failure and we need to use image recover
to recover the boot code or we can not download image anymore.
Symptom:
It seems system limit a threshold size one it excesses, if code tries to access this array, it will destroy to be failed download
next time or violate system memory map region (overlap or something..)

Dont know where to adjust our system map and i check the ram-spar list
0x00208900 test_buf and this buffer is allocated in rational area...
Hi,
How can I test my hello sensor board on Mac OSX. It worked on Windows using your app but I could find the app for Mac OSX. Please help.
Thanks,
John

Will the Allegro *.brd file of the WICED Sense design be released, too?- Or how can I open the released "Allegro *.pcb" file with Allegro?Excuse my beginner's question.
Show LessI cannot find any available information about data transferring methods between two modules without involving a computer or cell phone. Basically two BCM20737 modules will pair or not pair(broadcast mode) and send a small data file to each other. Isn't it possible with the WICED modules?
