Hi Sir,
This situation is hard to describe. First, we observe one case. If we show up too much message in HCI UART, the device will reboot.
So we want to use BLE_APP_DISABLE_TRACING() to disable console output. But we found that other case.
if the puart_control.exe send the command to WICED (20736), it will no response to send information back to puart_control.exe.
But if we add some code in puart_control_rx_callback. Like .
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
test_puart_write(PUART_CONTROL_EVENT_CONTINUE);
It will back to normal. It is very strange.
Do you know the way to close HCI UART safely ?

Hi,
Is there a plan to release current consumption table more detailed than the one available in the datasheet?
One of our customers would like to know the consumption current of VDDO/VDDM.
Thanks
Show LessI was wondering to use the fine timer for a timeout on a while loop, but I experienced that the fine timer callback is not called while in the loop. What's the priority above the user code?
Show LessHi,
I have an application for which the power consumption is very important. I would like to send less frequent data if the sensors are not moving, and send more frequent data if the sensors are moving with the user.
I see that the connection intervals are set in the wiced_sense_connection_up() function through calling bleprofile_SendConnParamUpdateReq(). Is it allowed to call the same function to adjust the connection interval later on after the connection is up? If not, how would you achieve the dynamic nature of this feature?
I appreciate your help in advance,
Bardia
Show LessSomething has changed in W7 since I last used this. I'm not sure which update is responsible . It seems that the OS no longer performs discovery when adding a ble device and requires some sort of driver in order to see anything other than the GATT Server, 'Find Me' and Proximity services.
WsOtaUpgrade.exe bombs because it can't find any devices with the service:
Can anybody point me to information on how to get it to recognize the BCM OTA profile so I can get some boards updated?
Hi,
I just noticed that when I just programmed the 20736S I'm using now, the return value of bleprofile_ReadNVRAM() is 0. I get the same value if some form of read error occurred. Now I have the problem that I have to be able to detect the read error and act differently compared to the case where NVRAM has not been written yet.
One avenue I'm thinking about is using some battery buffered register to store the configuration state. There are some RTCs out there in the wild that offer that possibility and you have this most intriguing set of functions called mia_xyzKeepstateN(). Please let me know whether I can use them for this purpose or whether they serve some different function.

Show LessI'm using mybeacon application, I found that my 92073X kit's HCI port always output content like this, how can I disable it?

Show LessJust an FYI that there is a new document available on the community which discusses Sleep and Deep Sleep operation on the BCM20736/37.
WICED Smart Sleep/Deep-Sleep Explanation and Techniques Design Guide
Note that this is based on j.t very popular Sleep Blog here: Sleep Deep_Sleep Explanation and Techniques
Special thanks to psiegal for spending the time needed to convert this information into a succinct document for the community.
Show LessBased on thread: Re: About the bleprofile_GenerateScanRspData function?
I'm not able to find that variables declaration... Where can i find them? Maybe are them defined in a pre-compiled library? The arm none eabi compiler complains that's not able to locate them. Thks
Show LessIs it possible?
