I use wiced smart IDE 2.1.1 ad BCM20737 module. When I try to open WsOtaUpgrade.exe, a error message occur: "Failed to open the patch file.". I have windows7 installed.

I am trying to put the 20737S chip on my board into a deep sleep, but the chip does not wake up on either a GPIO interrupt or by timer. Once the chip goes into a deep sleep, the chip stays asleep.  My board does not have an external clock.  I was able to put 20737 chip into a deep sleep and have it wake up either by timer or GPIO interrupt.

I tried to using the rtc_sample code from the Broadcom community site.  The sample code works on the BCM92073X_LE_KIT, which uses the 20737 chip.  The code however does not work on the BCM9WICED_SENSE, which uses the 20737S.  The Wiced Sense board stays asleep, just like my board, after going into a deep sleep.

Is there something I have to add or change in the rtc_sample code to make the 20737S chip wake up after a deep sleep?

I am using SDK 2.2.0.

Hello everyone . I think you can help me . A few days ago I installed the Broadcom SDK (BTW 6.1.0.1506) and tried to access my bluetooth- adapter on a laptop. I tried to use MS visual c ++ 6.0 and MS Visual Studio 2005 but get the error linker:

"unresolved external symbol" int __cdecl IsBroadcomStack (void) "(? IsBroadcomStack@@YAHXZ)".

P.S.

Although I set the necessary libraries : BtWdSdkLib.lib, WS2_32.lib and version.lib this solves other errors linker but not this one.

What I do wrong?

i try actually pwm_tones from SDK v2.0.1. I know already how to set the PWM frequency. But i still don't understand, how can i set the pin.

On the image we can see, that the pin for 5s always on (High) and 4s always off (low). The time is defined by a random generator.

How/Where can i change it?

The high-level ADC interface in include/Drivers/adc.h appears to only support one-shot sampling of the ADC. In other words, the app needs to call adc_readSampleRaw() each time it wants a new sample. I need to perform a periodic analysis on a window of ADC samples collected at 11.7kHz (ADC_SAMPLE_FREQUENCY_MEDIUM_LOW). How can I do that? Does the BCM20737 implement DMA for the ADC? Or perhaps, does the BCM20737 implement a "sample-ready" ISR? I have not found a hardware manual for BCM20737 that would provide a description of all the hardware registers and their functions. If such a document exists could you please let me know where I can download it.

As a follow on to the thread here: How to lock Tx on a particular channel? (Con't)

I used the below approach for following tests:

a) Modulated test:

    * call blecm_StartTransmitterTest() on channel 0(2404-2406MHz), packet length of 20bytes and packetType = 0x7(01010101)

    * We expected the frequency to get locked down to channel 0.

    * But in the spectrum analyzer we saw the frequency hopping

b) Unmodulated test:

    * blecm_EnableUnmodulatedTxCarrierFrequencyTest() on 2404MHz at power level +4dB(I think stack ceils it to +3dB internally)

    * We could see unwanted noise in frequencies other than desired above.

Can you please let us know if this is the right way to execute both of these tests for FCC?
