I'm having trouble running the hello_sensor app distributed with the 2.2.1 SDK. It compiles ok but I get an error when trying to run it:
It is coming from the LoadLibrary() call:
My environment:
Plugable dongle with drivers installed (and working).
BTW SDK 6.5.1.5800 SDK installed
Windows 7 Pro 64
Visual Studio 2013
File exists in the path that's being searched:
My three guesses as to what's wrong:
- BTW version is incompatible with code shipped in SDK
- Some sort of DLL registration step is missing
- The DLL is not packaged correctly or is not 64bit, etc.
Ideas?
Show LessHello,
I would like the names of my services and characteristics to be displayed instead of my uuid's?
This can be seen in the attachments below. The HR example displays the names of the services and characteristics while my vender specific example displays the uuid. Is there a way to change this?
Regards,
Luke.

Show LessPer this discussion here: Prototype boards are failing with issue similar to one previously reported
I'm having a very similar problem and it looks like the previous user never found a solution.
I have some 20737S modules (4 out of 150), that stop advertising after 10-60 seconds. Even using the example code "hello_sensor" in the SDK, it makes no difference. I have changed the crystal warm up time to 5000ms and it hasn't helped the problem. The problem is definitely related to specific modules. I've also been unable to make a reliable test for this in production, as it seems that when a board is first powered up the advertisements might last several minutes, but then thereafter it lasts 10-60 seconds.
Show LessHow many data field's (Ex: ADV_LOCAL_NAME_SHORT, ADV_TK_VALUE, ADV_MANUFACTURER_DATA) can one have in a advertisement packet? (The limit with ADV_MANUFACTURER_DATA is 29 bytes)
3 Fields will always get advertised:
- Flags (ADV_FLAGS)
- Manufacturer (ADV_MANUFACTURER_DATA)
- Power (ADV_TX_POWER_LEVEL)
On top of which only 3 other fields go through. Is this the correct behavior, where we can only get 6 fields in the adv data?

Show LessHi,
Our company is looking trying to work with Apple HomeKit with your wiced smart.
I have registered to your community and looking for many references.
But I am still confuse about mfi authentication chip.
So my question here is do we need any additional chip from apple for authentication other then your wiced smart homekit chip to design our homekit accessory?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards

hello_sensor_timeout:3
hello_sensor_timeout:4

But when I flash my custom hardware, the lines 1 to 54 shows up. But nothing else more.
(EDIT : Hello_sensor_timeout:0 doesnt shows up on my hardware)
And this is the same case for any example basically, I haven't tried all.
I tried spi_pressure_sensor as this one doesn't have too much hardware used. I did comment all GPIO and SPI function in the c file, and same issue. The BCM TAG works, and my hardware doesn't.
1 exception is when I'm flashing "hello_client" exemple, this example doesn't make my hardware "hang".
I'm using SDK 2.1.0,
My board has a BCM20737S chip.
Any idea ?
Thanks
