Hello,
a customer needs BLE 4.2 for a POS (point-of-sales) product. The certification institute said they have to use a BT 4.2 device because of the mandatory security certification for this type of application.
required feature is LE security mode1 level 3 (or 4), level 1+2 must be blockable in SW (level 1 is no security)
- Please check for it with timetable for the features
- maybe this features are already described in BT4.1, maybe not in full detail?
Can customer start with BLE 4.1 and later upgrade to this feature?
IS mode 2 planned?
Thanks, Andreas
Show LessHello,
İ want you to ask a question such that can i connect wiced sense via uart to any controller like beaglebone or rasperry. What i want to do that when the controller send any notification with uart the sense will send the sensor data to controller. i ask this question since i read the forum and i am a little confused.
Thanks
Show LessHi Broadcom helpers,
I just take hello_sensor project as an example, because I have a swarm of files need to get the same macro defines. So I put this in the makefile.mk like below:
########################################################################
# Add Application sources here.
########################################################################
CFLAG += -DHELLO_MACRO=1
APP_SRC = hello_sensor.c
But the CFLAG setting seems not work with the source code compiling.
I use the blocking item like below, and it happened:
#ifndef HELLO_MACRO
#error HELLO_MACRO not defined!!!
#endif
Please provide any document or information about the settings of makefile.mk.
Thanks.
Show LessHi mkim
Per the thread you participating in here: Check if bleprofile_sendNotification() was successful
Have U solved the issue of bleprofile_sendNotification() fail ??
Now I have the similar problem that, oen of my 20736 works in slave, and call bleprofile_sendNotification() to send data to its master, sometimes, the master could not get data from this slave 20736, and we check the tx buffer always keeps 0, which seems that, the bleprofile_sendNotification() is blocking some where in the stack.
It's realy confusing me, and have no any idea about this issue.
If you have already sovled this issue, could U pls share with me?
Or pls let me know if my problem is / isn't the same as U
Many thanks...
Show LessHello,
I know that lesmpkeys_numOfBondedDevice() returns number of bonded devices. but is there a way to get a list of those devices addresses ?
Thanks
Show LessHi,
I use BCM20737S in my design and I have a problem with wake up from external interrupt driving by a push button. Normal operation is :
1. When button pressed for 3s (active low) that turn the BCM to deep sleep mode. Wake up interrupt is configured on falling edge of the same input.
2. Release the button, that normally have no effect (creating a rising edge)
3. Pushing the button wake up BCM and go into normal operation.
The problem is sometime at step to, BCM wake up when I release the button. I think it's a hardware problem because I use simple RC debounce circuit for the switch, without Schmitt trigger. Like this:
So there is a slow rising and falling signal at the input (dependent RC) and maybe that not meet maximum transition time on input. But I don't know this value and where I can found it.
Can someone help me to find this value, or an approximation ?
Best regards
Show LessDoes BRCM have released download and test tools for factory.If use sdk,it's too lower.
Hi :
Regarding the fix noted in the thread here: rtc_RtcTime2Sec() returns wrong seconds when RtcTime.year is 2016
Can get Millisecond ? I want calculate program run time about my algorithm!
Thank you !!!
Hi All,
I have just posted a blog that gives basic direction as to where to go in the forum and also compiles many of the forum's most popular posts into one single page. Hopefully this blog post will make links more accessible for everyone to find.
If anyone believes any additional links should be added to this page, let us know and we can add it on to the list.
Enjoy,
Kevin
