WICED Smart SDK 2.1.0 Release...

We just released WICED Smart SDK 2.1.0 to the Community Website.

Please refer to changelog.txt for all fixes, additions and improvements included within this release.

The following documents were also just released to support the new SDK:

Changes for WICED-Smart-SDK-2.1.0

* Added support for Segger J-Link debugger; updated debug configurations in Eclipse.

- Uses Segger J-Link GDB server. See pwm_tones sample app for an example.

* New features in patch libraries.

* Updated most sample apps with bug fixes, documentation and newer code.

* Updated some download tools.

* Added new sample applications for:

- myBeacon (advertiser which allows changing contents of advertisements)

- iBeacon device

- iBeacon Managed device (iBeacon which allows over the air configuration)

- Secure Over the Air Firmware Upgrade

- Long Characteristic Sample

- Sample app to use external 32KHz LPO and the RTC for timed wake from deep sleep.

May I use SDK 2.x to developt BCM20732? How?

Unfortunately you cannot. You will need to use SDK 1.1 for the BCM20732 and it's associated development kit (different firmware).

Does the smart designer overview support on SDK1.x?

I try it as the SDK2.x video by JT to created 5 sensor custom board, but it just show fail.

Smart Designer only works with SDK 2.x

The video linked here is hosted on Avnet's YouTube channel and provided through an embedded link: Video Link : 1065

I'm not sure if YouTube is accessible globally.
